The Planning Ahead Edition
|
Digital tools are great, but there’s nothing like a paper planner. I use one myself, and I have a big whiteboard in my home office (AKA Savetz Publishing World Headquarters) so I can visualize what’s coming up next. I make sure to keep PrintablePlanners.net up to date, and I’ve just added even more planner designs to the site.
I’ve also added more forms, worksheets, and other end-of-life planning printables to DeathPlanner.net. Death is a tough topic for most people, which is exactly why I created this site to help you “Get Your Life (and Death) in Order.”
Please take a moment to visit the FreePrintable.net Patreon page and consider making a monthly pledge to aid in the creation of new printables. Thank you!

I started PrintablePlanners.net in 2008 with simple sets of refills for popular commercial ringed planners and binders. Now, there are 1,120 printables at the site, from journals to decorative planners to specialty organizers. Each has a free version to download and print, and in most cases there’s a premium, editable option for a few dollars per design.
PrintablePlanners.net was recently reorganized to make specific printables easier to find, with categories sorted by size, function, or layout.
Another new option is the Personal and Business themed Planner Packs. These specially curated collections of 50 printables save time and money by providing the most popular planning-related items from several FreePrintable.net sites in one convenient download for just $19 ($17 with the newsletter subscriber discount). There are more than 60 themed
Packs in all.
Back to what’s new at PrintablePlanners.net! I’ve added a dozen “basic” planners. These are black-and-white designs with several fields on which to note appointments, to-do lists, and other information. The themes and uses include: chores, school, fitness, and kids’ activities as well as daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basic planner pages.
You’ll also find a new Today’s Plan sheet with 30-minute increments and a Mindfulness Planner with spaces on which to note self-care and personal reflections.
Rounding out the new additions are mini planners that print with four on each sheet. There are daily and weekly small planners as well as versions titled for each month of the year.
PrintablePlanners.net’s refill pages for traditional planners are sized to fit Franklin Covey, Day-Timer, and Day Runner. There are also sheets in the sizes of: executive, desktop, A5, large cahier, travel, personal, pocket, hipster, A6, small cahier, small, and mini.
There are also bullet journal designs, pretty planners, planner stickers, an author planner, student planners, a baby
planner, and coordinated planner pages with floral or watercolor designs. The site’s popular weekly and 5- and 10-year journals let you jot down a few sentences about your personal or professional happenings on a specific date over the years.
Each planner page is free to print individually in PDF form to write on by hand. Or, for most designs, you can pay $4 per sheet for a DOC version to type into using Microsoft Word. Another option is to buy an entire collection of planner inserts in one size in one convenient download for $9.
There are even more organizational printables (including to do lists, paper, and shopping lists) at PrintableToDoList.com, PrintablePaper.net, and FreePrintableGroceryList.com.

Planning a memorial service while tracking down legal documents and other necessary information is hard enough, and the grieving process certainly doesn’t make it any easier. I created DeathPlanner.net as a one-stop online resource for anyone dealing with a loss, or planning ahead for their own passing.
There are now 111 end-of-life checklists, forms, and worksheets at the site. You can print just the items you need, or download a Final Directive planner so you can organize information in a binder. Each item is free to print individually in PDF or editable DOC format, or you can opt for the convenient Final Directive Collection. The all-in-one download is just $47.
I recently added new printables to the site, where forms range from funeral templates to inventories of possessions to password keepers. DeathPlanner.net also has formal documents related to wills, guardianship, and health care. (Of course, be sure to consult an attorney when you need one.)
There’s a new article about death doulas and companions as well as one about eco-friendly or “green” funerals.
The new additions include: a beneficiary list, a death doula worksheet, an identity protection checklist, and social media account closure information.
For funeral planning, there are now two variations of casket cost and feature comparison worksheets and a headstone-shopping worksheet. There’s also a worksheet for “green” funerals.
New letters cover: college financial aid appeals, death certificate copy requests, employee death benefits, and various death notifications for personal and business purposes.
DeathPlanner.net is a complement to ObituaryHelp.net, my site that has obituary-writing tips and dozens of sample obituaries to share about someone’s life, as well as memorial service templates.
Remember to send me your ideas for new printables! I’m already working on new additions for the fall and winter holidays. And be sure to visit the FreePrintable.net Patreon page and consider becoming a member with a monthly pledge. Thanks and happy printing!
