This Fourth of July will be a lot different from last year thanks to widespread availability of vaccines. Backyard barbecues and community celebrations are back on! With the heatwave and dry conditions here on the West Coast, I’m a little wary of fireworks, but I hope everyone stays safe and sound while celebrating Independence Day. From coloring pages to recipe cards, each of the hundreds of Independence Day printables at the FreePrintable.net sites has a free version to download and print.
I’ve added two new gift tags to FreePrintableGiftTags.net and they read “Happy 4th of July!” and “Independence Day” on backgrounds of a flag or stars.
Also new this year are the handy Printables Packs. These are a great kids’ activity at parties, and don’t be surprised if you find grownups joining in and grabbing some crayons as well.
You can print flag- and ribbon-themed commemorative awards at FreePrintableCertificates.net. These commemorate the holiday or recognize acts of service and patriotism.

There are more than 150 new puzzles at PrintPuzzles.net. I’ve added Nonogram and Sudoku puzzles ranging from beginner to expert skill level. Each is free to download and print individually. Or, you can pay just $9.99 to download a puzzle “book” to print and assemble.
PrintPuzzles.net has guides for solving the puzzles and each download includes the puzzle’s answer if you get stumped.
Solve a Sudoku puzzle by adding numbers to fill a grid so that each 3-by-3 block or “region” of the multi-celled puzzle contains the digits 1 through 9. Easier Sudoku puzzles have several numbers prefilled and harder puzzles provide only a few numbers.
Nonograms are more complicated. These logic puzzles use basic math skills to gray out specific squares on a grid until a pattern is revealed.
The PrintPuzzles.net digital puzzle books are sorted by difficulty level. Or, get a variety of skill levels in each $9.99 collection. Each set contains hundreds of puzzles.
