This week marks the 15th birthday of FreePrintable.net sister site FaxZero.com. I started the free and low-cost internet fax service in 2006 and it’s still going strong. During that time, 22.5 million faxes have been sent via FaxZero! FaxZero lets users send up to five free faxes per day in the U.S. and Canada. Or, pay a few dollars for more, longer, or international
faxes.
Of course, I added new printables this week. There’s a variety of new maps at PrintableWorldMap.net. Plus, I’ve added new hero biographies to HeroPrintables.com. These will join the Hero of the Day rotation at my daily
printables site PrintablesToday.com.

With this week’s additions, PrintableWorldMap.net has surpassed 700 printables! Like everything at the site, each new map is free to download and print.
The new maps include 50 state maps with their capital cities indicated with a distinctive yellow star. Several island nation country maps in this style have been added as
well.
I’ve also added labeled and unlabeled (fill-in) maps of the original 13 U.S. colonies.
The new topical maps include labeled and unlabeled maps of the major rivers and bodies of water in the United States.
PrintableWorldMap.net also has regional maps, continent maps, and lots more. Most are available in both labeled and unlabeled versions and are ideal for classroom use.
The site also has maps illustrating time zones, hemispheres, state flags, U.S. statehood, the Oregon Trail, tectonic plates, animal habitats, and zip codes. Rounding out the selection is several constellation maps of the stars.
Each map at PrintableWorldMap.net downloads instantly for free as a PDF file. Another option is to conveniently download the entire collection at once for $9.

I hope you’ve had a chance to check out HeroPrintables.com. The site is now up to 200 biographies, counting the newest additions. Each is researched and written especially for the website, and will also appear on my daily printables site, PrintablesToday.com.
The worksheets are free to download and print individually as a PDF file. You’ll find profiles of historical figures from a wide range of backgrounds, and each is illustrated with a photo or drawing of the individual, when available.
The heroes featured are trailblazers for civil rights, women’s rights, worker rights, and LGBTQ rights. Also profiled are leaders in politics, the environment, the
arts, sports, science, technology, and medicine.
The newest biographies at HeroPrintables.com honor dozens of people from the past and present, including: Amelia Earhart, Betty Ford, Helen Keller, Malcolm X, Octavia Butler, Simone Biles, Bella Abzug, and Thurgood Marshall. Not all are household names. Also new to the site are: Elizabeth Jennings Graham, Fred Hampton, Junko Tabei, Raye Montague, and Yuri Kochiyama. There are dozens of other new hero printables as well.
The hero biographies are great for students, or for anyone wanting to learn.
