The Funny Valentine Edition
|
If you’ve been reading the FreePrintable.net newsletter for years, you may remember my family’s silly annual Valentine’s Day tradition. Every year since 1993, my wife and I have watched a terrible stinker of a movie on or around February 14th. The dubious winners in years past have included: Solarbabies, From Justin to Kelly, Gigli, Heartbeeps (a robot love story), and Bio-Dome. Last year, we watched The Adventures of Pluto Nash. It
did not disappoint, in that it was a big disappointment. If you can think of an awful film we can “enjoy” this year, please let me know!
Keep reading for a roundup of Valentine’s Day printables. The FreePrintable.net sites have hundreds of printables for home, events, classrooms, and businesses, each with a free version to download and print.
Does love mean never having to say you’re sorry? I think not. This week, I’ve added a new batch of apology letter templates to ApologyLetters.net.
I’d love it if you’d visit the FreePrintable.net Patreon page, where you can consider making a monthly pledge to support the creation of new printables. Thank you!

There are now more than 400 ways to say you’re sorry at ApologyLetters.net. I’ve just added a couple of dozen new example apology letters to help you find the right words to apologize for personal and professional missteps, and to offer to make amends. Each template is free for you to download and customize for your personal use.
Some of the letters are intended to address minor mistakes while others are for more serious issues.
There are new letters that cover: going over budget, using one’s position for leverage, a “small mistake,” bothering someone, and refusing to attend a gathering.
I’ve also added templates with sample wording for workplace issues such as: a proofreading error, not following through on something, and sending too many emails. There are also letters addressing technology failures and a “Zoom incident.” Some of these templates are especially relevant during the pandemic.
You’ll also find new letters listing “action steps” for improvement or making up for errors or slights.
The new personal apology letters express regrets for a political argument or insensitivity. There’s also an “agree to disagree” letter. Plus, find sample apologies for neglecting to to pick someone up or check on something, and for forgetting dietary restrictions.
A few of the new letters are intended to help kids and teens word an apology for not completing homework or other situations.
ApologyLetters.net also has templates for responding to an apology as well as short articles with tips on how to write a letter of apology.
You can download any of the letters in editable DOC form, or just cut and paste the text directly from the site.
Please keep sending me your ideas for new printables. And remember to visit the FreePrintable.net Patreon page and consider becoming a member with a monthly pledge. Happy printing!
