The Thinking Ahead Edition
|
I hope all is well with you. This week’s new printables focus on matters that may feel more comfortable to put off, but tackling them head-on will save your family time, trouble, and heartache in the future.
I’ve added new planning printables to DeathPlanner.net, the site I recently created to help you “Get Your Life (and Death) in Order.” I’ve also added new sample obituaries to ObituaryHelp.net, a site that also has articles with obit-writing tips and funeral-related printables. Each form or item at DeathPlanner.net
and ObituaryHelp.net is free to download, customize, and print.
Please take a moment to check out the FreePrintable.net Patreon page and consider making a monthly pledge to support the creation of new printables. Thanks!

If you’ve ever needed to plan a funeral, you know how difficult it can be to track down legal documents, online passwords, and so on, all while grieving the loss of someone close to you. That’s why, earlier this year, I created DeathPlanner.net as a one-stop online resource.
I’ve added even more articles and printable forms to the site, and there are now more than 70 end-of-life checklists, forms, and worksheets. You can even print a Final Directive planner and organize your information in a binder. DeathPlanner.net also has resources for those seeking to get organized after the death of a loved one.
The newest printables include: a creditors contact list, a dependent care planner, an executor checklist, an insurance policies list, a list of relatives to reach out to, safe deposit box information, and a social media accounts list. Several worksheets are set up to list electronics, furniture, art, jewelry, and other possessions to be sold or distributed
after one’s death. Other worksheets cover vehicles and real estate, with room to list values and locations.
There are also new forms related to wills, guardianship, and health care. Of course, as always, be sure to consult an attorney when you need one.
DeathPlanner.net has dozens of lists and worksheets, along with formal document templates.
There are also printables related to funeral services, such as a program template, a service worksheet, and a guest list.
Please let me know what else you’d find helpful at DeathPlanner.net. Everything at this site is free to download individually in PDF or editable DOC (Microsoft Word) form. There’s also the convenient option of downloading all of the forms at once. The Final Directive Collection is $47.

I’ve added more templates and other printables to ObituaryHelp.net, my site that has dozens of sample obituary templates to help tell the story of someone’s life as well as share information about memorial services.
The most recent additions to the site include obituaries with sample wording for the death of someone in a specific profession, with a particular ailment, and other circumstances. There are both formal and funny obits, and short and long versions. Just pick one that’s close to what you need and use the wording and pacing to prompt your own writeup.
ObituaryHelp.net now has well over 100 obituary and death notice templates, forms, and funeral program layouts, along with funeral and memorial invitations.
The site also has articles with tips on obituary writing, such as situations that may call for specific and sensitive wording. Other articles address funeral etiquette and related issues.
I’ve also added to the selection of thank you note templates, which have sample wording for a variety of cases.
Everything at the site is free for your personal use. Most of the templates at ObituaryHelp.net can be downloaded in editable DOC format so you can type into them. Or, simply cut and paste the text directly from the site. The funeral programs, invitations, and other formatted designs are all editable DOC files.
Thanks for sending me your ideas for new printables! I have lots more coming for the holidays, including themed Packs. Don’t forget to visit the FreePrintable.net Patreon page and consider becoming a member with a monthly pledge. Happy printing!
