The Patent Pending Edition
|
I have another new site to tell you about this week! PrintablePatents.com has 60 authentic patent designs, each free to download and print at home. Be like me and print a cool retro computer console patent, or choose from drawings of home appliances, musical instruments, vehicles, and more.
Plus, I’ve added more apology letters at ApologyLetters.net, so there are now nearly 400 templates at the site.
There are also a few more pandemic-related signs, forms, and lists at the FreePrintable.net sites. I hope you find them helpful, but more importantly I hope you’re well. Please let me know if there are any specific
printables you’ve been looking for. By special request, I’ve added a letter from the Tooth Fairy explaining that it’s still safe for the fairy to come collect a child’s tooth.
Please take a moment to visit the FreePrintable.net Patreon page, where you can consider making a monthly pledge to support the creation of new printables. Thank you!

PrintablePatents.com is home to 60 authentic patent designs, beautifully formatted with backgrounds and styles exclusive to the site.
There are electronics patents as well as game and entertainment patents such as: a rotary telephone, a Wii remote, and an Atari console. The music patents include: an accordion, a clarinet, and a piano.
Other patents include: a cuckoo clock, a BBQ, an airplane, a pocket watch, a wind turbine, and a goofy helicopter boat car.
I’ve even included some funny patents, such as for toilet paper and a “disappearing” toilet, both ideal for decorating a bathroom.
There are backgrounds to match any home or office décor. Choose from blueprint, blackboard, chalkboard, and parchment.
Just pick a patent you like, and download a free PDF in 5x7, 8.5x11, or 11x17 inch size. Then, print it out from your home or office printer. The patents print at 300 dots per inch and look awesome framed. There’s a premium option if you’d like a high-resolution 18x24 or 16x20 patent poster. Pay just $12.99 or $9.99 to download these JPG versions. Then, if you have access to a large-format printer, you’re good to go. Or, you have my permission to have posters
for yourself printed at your expense at a local print shop or elsewhere.
I’ll be adding even more patent designs in the future, so please check back.

With the new additions to ApologyLetters.net, there are now 391 apology letters covering a wide range of personal and professional missteps. These templates are all free for you to download, customize, and use.
There are new letters addressing social faux pas such as: being insensitive, distant, defensive, curt, or blunt, or for making fun of someone. Also covered are false accusations and inappropriate “gallows humor.”
Other new apology letters cover specific circumstances such as a stressful workplace, caregiver fatigue, unwitting spread of a disease, and a stress-induced outburst. I’ve also added a letter apologizing for excessive gambling.
A few of the new letters are example letters to help children craft sincere apologies for sneaking around or arguing.
In almost every case, an apology letter should be heartfelt, sincere, and make no excuses. However, a handful of templates at ApologyLetters.net address the rare situations. One of the new letters expresses that the writer was “only trying to help.” There are also apologies for stating that it’s “not your fault” or it’s “all my fault.”
Plus, I’ve added a few templates for responding to someone’s apology, such as by accepting the apology, forgiving the person, or letting them know that you need more time to process their transgression.
The site also has articles with tips on how to write a letter of apology, including dos and don’ts. Download any of the apology letters in editable DOC form, or simply cut and paste the text directly from the site. No regrets!
Thanks so much for sending me your ideas for new printables! And remember to visit the FreePrintable.net Patreon page and consider becoming a member with a monthly pledge. Happy printing!
