The Weird Edition

Summer’s still in full swing at Savetz Publishing World Headquarters. School doesn’t start until next month and, along with getting new printables to you, I have been decluttering my home and office. We’ve also been weirding out with one of my favorite artists, “Weird Al” Yankovic, whose concert tour features a symphony orchestra. I’ve been listening to Al since the Dr. Demento days. Stay weird!

Not weird, but cool: With the latest additions to PrintableInvoiceTemplates.net, there are now nearly 400 invoices and other printables for small business owners, craftspeople, freelancers, and anyone else that needs to lay out project or product costs. I’ve also added new weekly calendars for 2020 to RocketCalendar.com.

Invoice Templates

I’ve added more than two dozen new invoice templates to PrintableInvoiceTemplates.net. This site has not only invoices but also proposals and bids, credit memos, expense reports, purchase orders, inventory forms, and more.

There are new basic invoices and billing documents as well as illustrated and industry-specific forms.

Some of the forms match the stationery designs at sister site FreePrintableStationery.net as well as business cards at FreePrintableBusinessCards.net. There are invoices with a colorful butterfly, cats, flowers, a U.S. flag, a forest scene, a computer background, a wolf, stars, and several other themed designs.

There’s also a new babysitting invoice, a generic business invoice, an invoice with fancy script lettering, a retail invoice, and a move-out cleaning invoice.

I’ve also added a final invoice with bold red lines as well as a reminder invoice and product and service invoices that include a remittance slip.

A lot of the invoices are available in both lined and unlined versions as well as in landscape and portrait orientation.

Each template is free in PDF form or $7 per template for an editable DOC (Microsoft Word) or XLS (Excel spreadsheet) version. If you’d like to be able to type into the invoice before printing, or add a company name or graphics, opt for the $7 premium version.

Calendars

I’m sure you’re familiar with my 2019 calendars site, Printable2019calendars.com, and, if you like to plan ahead, Printable2020calendars.com with its 2020 calendars. But did you know that my site RocketCalendar.com has nearly 200 years’ worth of calendars to instantly download and print for free? Revisit the past and find out the day of your birthday 15 years ago or develop your sci fi novel with calendars from 1800 to 2099. This site has so many uses!

I’ve just added new weekly calendars for 2020 to the RocketCalendar.com home page. You can download the entire year at once, or just pick a week at a time. Choose from portrait or landscape mode.

All of the calendars have room to handwrite notes so you can keep personal or business records.

RocketCalendar.com, a site I started 10 years ago, also has lunar calendars, Hijri (Islamic) calendars with both Hijri and Gregorian years, and ISO week/date calendars for each month.

The printables at RocketCalendar.com download in PDF form and are free to download and print.

Peggy J. emailed me this week with some kind words about PrintableConstitution.com, the FreePrintable.net site that lets you print copies of the U.S. Constitution and other founding documents for free.

Popular Printables

With more than 4,300 signs at PrintableSigns.net, it’s easy for me to lose track of which are being downloaded the most. (Knowing what’s popular helps me decide what to add next.) This week, I took a look at the Top 20 printables at this 11-year-old site.

No surprise here: The most popular printable is a simple red stop sign. Also downloaded a lot is a “do not enter” traffic sign.

Two “reserved” signs (one for a table and one for a door) are in the Top 20. Recycling signs with green arrows are popular, as are danger signs warning of a biohazard.

Other often-downloaded signs include an out of order sign and an illustrated handwashing station information sign.

Two “reserved” placards are in the Top 20, as is an illustrated sign requesting that visitors remove their shoes. Also popular is a “no public restroom” sign.

Often-downloaded restriction signs tell people to remove their shoes and refrain from smoking and vaping. Another business sign notes the number of days without an accident. There’s a “Smile, You’re On Camera” sign as well as a placard for selling a car.

For the first time I can remember, the business hours sign and “no public restroom” sign aren’t in the Top 20. New to the most-downloaded are a rainbow-lettered welcome sign to hold up at the airport, a student driver sign, and an illustrated peanut-free sign.

PrintableSigns.net also has library signs, party signs, parking signs, campaign signs, lawn signs, and lots more. Each printable is free as a PDF or $1.99 each for an editable DOC version that works with Microsoft Word.
