Happy New Year! I hope that 2019 brings you only wonderful things. One thing it will surely bring you is lots of new, free printables. I’ve been traveling with my family (so fun!) but I’m back at FreePrintable.net World Headquarters in Portland, Oregon looking at my planner and to-do lists. I’m especially pleased to have avoided the Y2K bug for the 20th consecutive year.

2019 Calendars and Planners

The new year is here, and there are dozens of 2019 calendars to download and print for free at Printable2019calendars.com. You’ll find single-month calendars, the entire year on one page, and specialty designs.
Printable2019calendars.com has wallet-size calendars, academic calendars, large print calendars, list calendars, calendars with “mini months,” a colorful “morning/noon/night” calendar, calendars with space for photos, a foldable calendar, “cute” calendars, and calendars with two, three, or four months per page. There are horizontal and vertical versions of year-on-a-page calendars. Some of them note major holidays in red type.
The calendars download instantly in PDF or DOC format. The DOC version opens in Microsoft Word so you can type in appointments, birthdays, and other custom events. If you’re already thinking ahead to the following year, I have a selection of 2020 calendars ready at Printable2020calendars.com.
Ten years ago, I launched PrintablePlanners.net with an array of planner refills sized to fit common physical planners such as Day Runner and Franklin Covey. The site has expanded to nearly 1,000 printables, including student planners, lists, and journals. One of my favorites is the five- and 10-year journals that have one page for each day of the year with a few lines per year to write down what happened on that date. I’ve just updated these journals with a 2019 start date. The journals are free to download and print in a PDF version you can write on after printing, or pay just $4 if you’d like a DOC that you can type directly into on your computer.
Besides the papers and lists at PrintablePaper.net are nearly 300 to-do lists at PrintableToDoList.com, from basic checklists to more complex lists and trackers. They’re all free to download and print in either PDF or editable DOC format.

Complementing the 356 sample resume templates at InstantResumeTemplates.com is a large selection of curriculum vitae templates at CVTemplates.net. I’ve just added 15 new CV template designs to the
site.
CVs are similar to resumes, but the format is more common in the academic world and in Europe. Because of this, these new templates are available in both letter and A4 size.
Some of the CV templates highlight skills while others are designed more like traditional chronological or functional resumes. CVTemplates.net has sample templates for specific professional positions such as lawyers, health care workers, and artists.
The newest additions include: a CV for people with one employer, a CV with “hard” and “soft” skills listed, a version with room for a personal profile, a political CV, a CV for someone seeking a promotion, and one noting salary requirements. There are new CVs professionally designed with brackets and one with a colorful border.
A few of the new templates feature icons in the header for contact information. One has “bubbles” displaying attributes in search engine optimization style.
Besides CVTemplates.net and InstantResumeTemplates.com, job-seekers and academics will want to check out CoverLetterExamples.net which has hundreds of sample cover letters.
All of the designs at CVTemplates.net are free for use in your job search and download instantly in DOC format so you can type into them in Microsoft Word or another compatible program. Just type over the placeholder text with your own career details.
