This week, I was getting together a new batch of signs for PrintableSigns.net when I realized that St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and I’d better find something green to wear so I don’t get pinched. (Fun fact: My favorite color is purple.) In a related matter, for the first time in years,
I’m including a little roundup of St. Patrick’s Day printables for the newsletter.

I just added 30 new signs to PrintableSigns.net, from simple safety signs to illustrated signs for various situations. There are now 4,134 signs and placards at PrintableSigns.net, a site I
launched 10 years ago.
New caution signs warn of poison ivy, poison oak, rattlesnakes, and jellyfish (yikes!). There are also yellow triangle signs cautioning about uneven ground and uneven road. A new, red-accented danger sign warns of scaffolding hazards. There’s also a set of signs directing people toward emergency shelters for weather conditions such as tornados.
New informational signs including placards alert people with disabilities to wheelchair-accessible “areas of refuge” in case of emergency. Another sign directs people to assistive listening devices.
Other new, illustrated signs state: Breastfeeding Mothers Welcome Here; Nursing Room; Look Before You Leave: Please Collect
Your Valuables; Pet Relief Area; Priority Seating; and Pick Your Own Pumpkin. One of the more obscure signs warns: No Bananas on the Boat. (Turns out, some consider bananas on boats to be bad luck.)
Everything at the site, from school signs to party signs, is free to download and print in PDF format. If you’d like to customize the signs in Microsoft Word before printing, a DOC version is available for $1.99 per
sign.

I usually do a “printables roundup” in the newsletter before most big holidays, but it’s been awhile since I’ve highlighted the selection of items for St. Patrick’s Day. Indeed, the FreePrintable.net sites are ready with shamrocks, pots of gold, and more to download and print.
FreePrintableColoringPages.net has nearly three
dozen St. Patrick’s Day coloring pages, featuring leprechauns, four-leaf clovers, rainbows, a lucky horseshoe, and even some “green beer” (green crayons not included). This means coloring fun for kids as well as celebratory grownups.
There’s a St. Patrick’s Day border with hats and clover at PageBorders.net. It can be used for letters, signs, party flyers, and more. Like everything at the site, the border is free
in several formats (DOC, JPG, PDF, and PNG) or $7 for an editable AI (Adobe Illustrator) file.
Thanks for sending me your ideas for new printables. Remember to take a look
at the FreePrintable.net Patreon page and consider becoming a member with a monthly pledge. Happy printing!
