The Fax-tual Edition

I just got back from a jaunt through the Midwest with my family. I got to see a bunch of cool museums and historical sites and we even went up in the St. Louis Gateway Arch, watched a Cardinal game, and took a ride on a riverboat. Good times! Now it’s back to Portland to play printables catch-up.

This week, I’ve got new fax cover sheets at FreeFaxCoverSheets.net (perfect for using with my service FaxZero) as well as new page borders at PageBorders.net.

Fax Cover Sheets

There are 27 new fax cover sheets at FreeFaxCoverSheets.net, and they range from simple to very purposeful. Some include eye-catching graphics. These free cover sheets can be printed out and used with physical fax machines or simply uploaded as part of an electronic fax sent via FaxZero or another service or software.

The new cover sheets include new sports-themed cover sheets that are ideal for coaches, players, and businesses. Themes include football, basketball, and soccer. There are also new cover sheets for each of the four seasons with icons of a tree. I’ve added a new cityscape cover sheet too.

I’ve also added several new cover sheets especially for reaching out to elected officials. There’s bold print at the top with wording such as “From Your Constituent,” “Dear Senator,” and “Dear Representative.” Another design has spaces in which to write what issue the sender is concerned about and what action they’d like their rep to take. There are also cover sheets urging the recipient to vote yes or no on an issue.

Remember, you can send five free internet faxes per day via my service FaxZero, which has a one-click option to fax your representatives in the House and Senate. I recently added the ability to instantly fax state governors or the U.S. attorney general’s office.

There’s a sheet with room for a company logo, a fax for court filings, and a fax to the offices of the IRS. Several new faxes include a game on the sheet; kind of a bonus for the recipient. There’s one with a word search puzzle, one with Sudoku, and one with a maze.

FreeFaxCoverSheets.net also has funny fax cover sheets, foreign language fax cover sheets, and sheets for all kinds of business, personal, and educational purposes.

There are nearly 400 designs at FreeFaxCoverSheets.net, and they’re all free in either PDF or editable DOC format.

Printable Borders

PageBorders.net now has nearly 900 printable border designs. They download instantly, ready to use as stationery, for flyers, for signs, or any other purpose you can find.

This new batch of 28 borders includes both simple and formal borders. There are simple rectangular line borders, wavy elliptical borders, borders with points, rounded borders, curvy borders, and borders with both thin and bold lines. There’s also a new art deco antique border.

Most of this round of additions is comprised of black and white borders, but PageBorders.net also has kid and school borders, holiday borders, sports borders, nature borders, and lots more.

Everything at PageBorders.net is free to download and print in PDF, DOC, PNG, and JPG format. Or, for graphic designers or others who want to edit the borders before printing, an AI (Adobe Illustrator) version is available for $7 per design.

Popular Printables

PrintableSigns.net, a site I started almost a decade ago, has grown to over 4,100 printable signs and placards. This week, I looked at which ones were downloaded the most. This helps me decide what type of signs to add next.

The most popular sign is a simple stop sign. Several recycling signs are in the Top 20 most downloaded as well, as is a business hours sign, a student driver sign, and a “no public restroom” sign.

Also downloaded a lot, perhaps for use as a danger sign or as a prank, is a biohazard sign.

A parking violation sign, which can be placed on a vehicle, is popular, as is a handicapped parking sign and a railroad crossing sign. Also hot is a “do not enter” street sign and an out of order sign.

A “reserved” sign than can be folded and placed on a seat or tabletop is in the Top 20 for the first time. Also new to the most-downloaded is a no smoking/no vaping sign.

PrintableSigns.net also has school signs, holiday signs, campaign signs, party signs, sales signs, and lots more.

You can download and print any of the signs as a PDF for free. If you’d like to alter or type into the sign before printing, such as adding business names or closing hours, an editable DOC version is just $1.99.
