Before I was the free printables guy, I had various jobs ranging from pizza shop guy to tech journalist guy to computer guy. I am very aware of how hard it can be to find just the right job to suit your skills and interests. That’s why I’m always adding to my sites that have resumes, cover letters, and other employment-related
resources.
This week, I’ve added a whole new category to InstantResumeTemplates.com. You can now find cover letter templates that match the site’s resume designs. Also, head to PrintableContracts.com to see dozens of new contracts you can download,
customize, and print for free.

With nearly 300 resumes at InstantResumeTemplates.com, I thought I had most things covered. Then came the idea of creating cover letter templates to match some of the resumes in design, style, and feel. Done and done! Check out the new cover letters
category at the site; there are 29 of them.
These cover letters match the borders, layout, headers, or other elements of resumes that were already at the site. They are linked to one another so it’s easy to
see which ones correspond. The letters have placeholder example text that you can customize to suit your situation. You can also paste in wording from one of the cover letter templates at sister site CoverLetterExamples.net.
The new letters
at InstantResumeTemplates.com match resumes relating to: scholarships, blogging, a mission statement, study abroad, child care, music, and more. Some of the templates have bold lines, some have color accents, some display personal information in a sidebar, and so on.
Besides job-related cover letters, the site includes articles with letter-writing tips as well as sample job objectives and skills matrixes.
The templates are in DOC (Microsoft Word) format. Just download a resume or cover letter and customize the wording to suit your situation.

There are three things you need to know about the contracts at PrintableContracts.com: they’re free, they’re easy-to-use, and they should not take the place of expert legal advice.
I’ve just added a whopping 40 new sample contracts to the site. This is the largest addition I’ve made to
PrintableContracts.com since its launch in 2009. There are now nearly 450 contracts at the site.
There are new rental agreements relating to holding property and vacating premises. New professional services contracts cover cleaning services, mediation, and several photography-related services.
You’ll find new personal contracts covering joint purchases, childrearing, and other issues. A new liability release deals with the use of one’s likeness.
Besides traditional contracts, the new batch includes a lot of additions to the “Will” category at the site. There’s now wording for will provisions relating to pets, inheritances, guardianship, burial, trusts, and other
matters.
I’ve also added a birth plan, a bartering contract, an overtime agreement, and debt-related agreements. For children, there are informal contracts relating to classroom rules and smartphone use. I’ve also added another article with tips on contract-writing.
All of the contracts are free to
download, customize, and print. But remember, they’re no substitute for legal advice.
