The Snow Day Edition
It’s a happy week for me: The Oregon snowstorms have settled down enough for my kids to be able to get to school. I’ve lost track of how many snow days Portland students have had so far this year. I love building snowcreatures as much as the next dad, and my Dalmatian is a big fan of the white stuff, but I’m ready to focus less on precipitation and more on presenting printables. Speaking of which, thanks to those of you who’ve pledged monthly support of FreePrintable.net via Patreon, I’ll be able to bring even more awesome, free printables to you!

Of course there are new printables this week! I’ve added forms related to business planning to my site BusinessPlanTemplate.net, and new cover letters to CoverLetterExamples.net.
Business Plan Forms
Are you starting or expanding a business this year? I’ve added even more forms to my site BusinessPlanTemplate.net, which has dozens of business plan templates along with standalone forms that support the creation of such a plan.

The 27 new forms include data collection plans, marketing expense worksheets, and several types of ledgers. There are worksheets for retail businesses, multi-level marketing, and a variety of other ventures as well as general forms relating to cash flow, liabilities, risk assessment, and brand messaging. I’ve also added timelines for periods of months and years to track progress.

The existing business plans include sample plans for specific industries as well as plans designed especially for a start-up. There’s even a one-page business plan and a fill-in-the-blanks business plan.

These templates are helpful whether you’re seeking bank or investor funding for a venture, or just want to get your thoughts and numbers organized.

BusinessPlanTemplate.net also has articles with tips on how to write and present a business plan.

Everything at BusinessPlanTemplate.net is free to download and print in DOC or, in some cases, XLS form. Just open and edit them in Microsoft Word, Excel, or another compatible program.
Cover Letters
Cover letters are traditionally thought of as accompaniments to a resume, outlining in narrative form a person’s skills, career achievements, and how they’d fit in at a company. CoverLetterExamples.net has cover letters like that, but there’s also an array of cover letters for other business, legal, and personal situations.

I’ve added more than a dozen new sample cover letters to CoverLetterExamples.net. A few of the templates join the site’s many resume cover letters for specific job applications already at the site. There’s also a cover letter for someone who’s overqualified for a position, a “job-hopping” letter, a letter relating to a senior position opening, and two letters addressing issues of diversity.

The rest of the new additions address cases such as: submitting a manuscript for publication, applying for immigration into the United States, making an offer to purchase a house, submitting an application for rental housing, and seeking to adopt a child.

There are nine new articles about how to write various types of cover letters. I find that most people use the letters at CoverLetterExamples.net as a jumping-off point, adjusting the wording and adding to it however best fits their situation.

All of the letters are free to download and print. Click on a letter for a DOC version you can download and edit in Microsoft Word, or simply cut and paste the text directly from the site.

Thanks so much for sending me your ideas for new printables, for spreading the word about my sites, and for supporting FreePrintable.net as a Patreon member. I appreciate you. Happy printing!

Sincerely,
