The 'Is It 2017 Yet?' Edition
|
Are you ready for 2017? I must confess, I am. This year has
been a bit of a bear, though I am looking forward to a lovely December and holiday season with family and friends. Onward and upward! One thing I can promise you is more great, free printables in the coming year.
I told you awhile back that I’d launched my 2017 calendars site, Printable2017calendars.com. But I wanted to let you know that I’ve updated it to include all the calendars you (I hope!) know and love from previous years’ calendars sites. Also I recently added new maps to PrintableWorldMap.net, including the geographic
outlines of countries not previously represented on the site. | |

Cheers to those of you looking forward to 2017 and starting to plan for business, home, and school events. My newest calendars site is ready for you! I actually mentioned Printable2017calendars.com in the newsletter back in October, but since then I’ve added the full complement of calendars that I’ve included the past few years.
There are basic, one-page monthly calendars, versions with the year on one page, and specialty calendars, all free to download and print in PDF or editable DOC
format.
The classic full-page calendar can be printed one month at a time, from January 2017 onward, and there’s also a convenient year-in-one-download version, as well as a large print version. Some of the calendars at Printable2017calendars.com note major holidays; on the all-on-one-page calendars, some versions denote them by displaying the date in red.
There are lots of variations on the all-in-one-page style. Some start on Monday, some are on a grid, some list the months vertically and others horizontally, and so on. I also offer
layouts with two, three, or four months on each page. There’s truly a lot to choose from here.
Even more creative options at Printable2017calendars.com are: a calendar sized to cut out and stick on a computer monitor, a calendar that fits in a CD case, a cute calendar with scallops, a foldable calendar, and a calendar with slots for morning, noon, and night.
If you’re still looking, or want a year that’s not 2017, head to RocketCalendar.com to print a calendar for any year from 1800 through 2099. And for Hebrew
calendars, including Gregorian calendars with Jewish holidays noted, visit PrintableJewishCalendar.com.
Also, be sure to check out PrintablePlanners.net and PrintableToDoList.com for planners and to do lists to help you get ready for a new year.
Absolutely everything at Printable2017calendars.com is free to download and print.

I’ve added to the collection of maps at PrintableWorldMap.net, and there are now 165 maps to instantly download and print for free. Teachers can use them at school, kids can color them at home, and anyone can print them out and use them for reference or to bone up on geographical regions.
The new maps feature nearly 100 countries as standalone graphics for the first time. The borders are accurately represented, and users can place capitals, cities, and geographic features as they wish. It would take too much
space to list all the new country maps here, but they span the continents and range from Afghanistan to
Zimbabwe.
PrintableWorldMap.net also has blank and labeled maps as well as maps with lines on which to fill in capital cities for states and countries. There are versions in both portrait and landscape orientation.
In previous additions, I expanded the selection to include topical maps
such as the Roman Empire, hemispheres, and U.S. statehood. This site also has out-of-this-world constellation maps.
Again, all of the maps at PrintableWorldMap.net are free to print individually and download instantly as PDF files. If
you’d like the convenience of downloading the entire collection in one folder you can store on your computer, the maps collection is available for $9.
Send me your ideas for new printables! I know it’s the holiday rush, but I’ll need new ideas for 2017 and beyond. Thanks and happy printing.
