The In The Zone Edition
Other than a little dog-walking and cat-petting, I don’t have much to report on the home front this week. I’ve been in “the zone,” getting lots of new printables up for you to enjoy. The latest additions are especially handy for business owners, freelancers, and job-seekers. I love that the FreePrintable.net sites offer everything from fun stuff to kids to useful stuff for home and business.

I’ve added 26 cash receipts to PrintableCashReceipts.com, from basic to very specific. Plus, there are 14 new cover letters and 10 articles for a variety of situations at CoverLetterExamples.net.
New Cash Receipts
There’s so much at PrintableCashReceipts.com for small business owners, freelancers, and others who just need an easy-to-use form to record purchases, services, and donations. There are also receipts to acknowledge and form a record of charitable giving. The site also has rent receipts, petty cash receipts, and pretty much any other kind of receipt you can imagine. (In fact, please email me if you have ideas for more receipts styles and subjects to add in the future.)

Some of the new receipts are basic and familiar, similar to those found in commercial “receipt pad” form, or cash register receipts. I’ve also added colorful receipts and traditional pink or yellow receipts.

There are new receipts for specific businesses, such as a receipt for clothing alterations or laundering, parking (at campsites and in general), concert tickets, flower delivery, and hotel reservations. There’s even a garage sale receipt and record.

I’ve also added a cash payments journal to log installments toward a purchase, a package delivery receipt, a parking ticket, a record of tenants paying a pet deposit, a purchases journal, a sales receipt record, a tuition deposit receipt, and a valet claim check.

Most of the receipts print with several on each page, which saves paper. There are 205 receipt templates in total at PrintableCashReceipts.com.

They’re all free to download and print in PDF form that you can write upon in pen or pencil. Or, opt for the $7 DOC version that can be typed into in Microsoft Word. The premium versions can be customized and printed again and again. You’ll find even more forms for businesses at BusinessFormTemplate.com.
Cover Letters
Whether you’re applying for a job, a scholarship, donations, or grant funding, a cover letter can make the difference.

I’ve added 14 new sample letters to the CoverLetterExamples.net, including: a cover letter seeking an agent, a letter to a recruiter, and letters seeking holiday or work visas.

The new resume cover letters include: a letter seeking a first job, one for a startup, one seeking freelance gigs, and several for other circumstances.

There are a few letters for specific jobs, including technology and social work positions.

These letters recognize the need to use descriptive language while communicating the skills of the sender, all with the goal of making sure the recipient understands how their business needs can be specifically filled by the writer.

While users of CoverLetterExamples.net can of course use these free letters as-is, they are actually best seen as a starting point from which to craft a letter to suit your specific situation.

Also, there are 10 new articles at the site with tips on how to format and write cover letters. Topics include: how to address a cover letter, how to address difficult circumstances, cover letter design, cover letters for people with no job experience, how to pitch startups, and how to write a cover letter when seeking a contract.

There are now nearly 200 letter templates at CoverLetterExamples.net, and they are all free to download and customize in Microsoft Word or another DOC-compatible program. Or, simply cut and paste the letter text directly from the site.

There is much more on the way. Please send ideas! Thanks and happy printing.
