Kevin's FreePrintable.net news
The Family Ties Edition
So far, the best part of my February has been celebrating my daughter’s 9th birthday. I think 9 might just be the best age ever. We had a blast. Also last week my wife and I went to see Star Trek Into Darkness with the score played live by Oregon Symphony! On the flip side, a lowlight of February was the watching of a truly awful movie, due to a perhaps-misguided longtime Valentine’s Day tradition with my wife. We watched a movie called Bad Johnson, and it was so bad that I recommend you don’t even Google it.

More good news: There are over two dozen new family trees and genealogy charts at FamilyTreeTemplates.net. It’s a wide range of cool and useful printables. Plus, for all you grownup coloring pages fans, I’ve added dozens more to the collection at AdultColoringPages.net.
Family Trees
I’ve added 27 new family trees, along with charts and forms, to FamilyTreeTemplates.net, and I think it’s the most diverse set of additions yet. Now there are more than 100 family tree templates, ancestor charts, and genealogy research forms from which to choose.

The new wedding family trees are decorative in nature and suitable for framing (print on cardstock for added durability). You’ll also find new family trees for kids, illustrated with apples and decorative words.

There are also three new, illustrated Spanish family trees with room for cousins and up to five generations. Each line is labeled in Spanish, and the trees are titled in the Spanish language as well. There’s also a research form with the fields in Spanish.

Another new category is family trees with pets. Besides forming a record of an animal’s lineage, these are also super cute, and can be used decoratively for shelter cats and dogs as well as for specific breeds.

The new forms to assist in family history and genealogy research include: an ancestor census timeline, a birthday calculator, a marriage tracker, research summary, and census information trackers.

Other new trees added to the site range from paternal and maternal lineage trees to “couples” ancestors charts in four- and five-generation variations.

All of the trees are free to download and print in PDF format. Just write names and vital statistics onto the tree with a pen. If you’d like to type the information into the tree or form before printing, opt for the $4 premium DOC version, which is available for almost everything at the site.

Coloring Pages
for Grownups
Are you not a kid? Do you love coloring? Well, then you’re part of the latest craze: grownup coloring pages. I’ve just added several dozen more pages to AdultColoringPages.net, so there are now well over 100 from which to choose.

The new coloring pages include detailed mandalas, spiraling coils, fascinating links, optical illusion-inspiring curlicues, a pretty trellis, weaves and chains, abstract geometrics, and lovely flowers. They have lots of little spaces to color in, with whatever color scheme your creative mind desires. It’s very relaxing!

Another recent addition to AdultColoringPages.net is map coloring pages, where you can choose a U.S. state and color in its counties. Or, color in the entire nation by state or Congressional district!

The best part is, everything at the site is free to download and print. Just pick the page or pages you like and print them out. For a sturdier coloring experience with felt-tip pens, use thick paper or even cardstock.

If you’d like the convenience of downloading all 121 designs at once, the coloring page collection is available for $9.99. And by popular demand, I’m also offering actual coloring books via Amazon. There are three so far, with themes of Mandalas, Geometric, and Floral coloring pages. Have fun!

Thanks so much for sending me your ideas for new printables. I have much more on the way. Happy printing!
