The 2016 Edition
I could write a bunch of cliché or pseudo-philosophical things about saying goodbye to one year and hello to a new one. But I’m so ready for 2016 to start that I’m just going to jump right into telling you about the calendars and other planning-related printables I have for you.

In the time since I announced the launch of my 2016 calendars site, the calendars have been downloaded hundreds if not thousands of times. There are even more variations than ever this year; keep reading to hear more about them. Also, I’ve got lots of planners for your new year, including the popular five- and ten-year journals.
2016 Calendars
I want to make sure that you’re all set for next week by highlighting my 2016 calendars site. It has dozens of calendars, from very basic month-on-a-page to versions with large print, sized to fit in a wallet, or for an academic year.

When it comes to the monthly calendars, you can download one month at a time, or the entire year all at once. Some designs include “mini” versions of the months before and after the current month. The large print version is ideal for people with vision issues, or for anyone who wants to be able to see dates and holidays (noted in red) from across a room.

Some of the most popular calendars are the year-on-one-page versions that display all 12 months. They are available in various styles: horizontal and vertical, Monday start, holidays in red, shaded weekends, academic, and with room for notes.

You’ll also find specialty calendars at the site. There are designs with two, three, or four months per page. Plus, there’s a calendar that shows how many days are left in the year, one with checkboxes on each date to track stuff, weekly calendars, bookmarks, cute and colorful calendars, and more.

All of the calendars are free to download and print! If you’re looking for free calendars for years 1800 to 2099, visit RocketCalendar.com. For Hebrew calendars, or Gregorian calendars with Jewish holidays or dates listed, go to PrintableJewishCalendar.com.
Printable Planners
When I started PrintablePlanners.net back in 2008, it was with the idea that users could print out sets of planner refills for the seven most common datebook pages, punch through the marked holes, and use these weekly pages for their home and business needs. Since then, the site has expanded to include to-do lists, notebook pages, a complete student planner, and journal pages.

Two of the most popular printables this time of year are the five- and ten-year journals. I’ve just added a version that starts in 2016. The way these journals work is, there’s a page for each day of the year: January 1, January 2, and so on. Then, there are a few lines on which to record things that happened on that day in 2016, 2017, 2018, etcetera for five or ten years. It’s eventually a really cool way to look back on what was going on in your business or personal life on a particular date in the past. The journal is free in PDF format which you can print out and write on by hand in pen or pencil. If you’d like to type directly onto the page, there’s a DOC version that’s editable in Microsoft Word.

Also hot this time of year are the to-do lists, which are popular for goal-setting. There are checklists, an errand manager, project lists and timers, a planner with 15-minute increments, a bill tracker, a blog planner, a teacher’s lesson calendar, agendas, and even planners. (For more lists, visit PrintableToDoList.com.)

Everything at PrintablePlanners.net has a free version, while some have a premium customizable version available for a few dollars. The PDF planner page sets are free when printed individually, or $9 per size for the convenience of downloading all the pages at once. They range in size from Mini to Personal to Desktop to Executive and fit brand-name planners by Franklin Covey, Day Runner, Day-Timer, and more.

I really appreciate all the great ideas you’ve sent me throughout 2015. I have much more on the way in the new year. Happy printing!
