The Gobble Gobble Edition

Confession: I don’t care about turkey; I’m in it for the pie (pumpkin is my fave!) and, of course, the love. I completely enjoy Thanksgiving. Our family usually has other families over and it’s just a fun day of cooking, gorging, and overall just being thankful. I’m hoping this year will be the same, and that those of you who celebrate have a wonderful holiday as well.

In this week’s newsletter, I round up the Thanksgiving printables, from gift tags to coloring pages. Also, I’ve added new Christmas letterhead to FreeLetterheadTemplates.net.

Thanksgiving Printables

There are Thanksgiving printables at many of the FreePrintable.net sites, and all have versions you can download and print for free. Here’s a roundup.

The Thanksgiving gift tags at FreePrintableGiftTags.net include full-color designs of turkeys, pilgrims, and cornucopias. Add a tag to a plate of cookies, attach one to your plate at a potluck, and so on. I also have Thanksgiving letterhead at FreeLetterheadTemplates.net, which is perfect for party flyers and menus.

If you haven’t shopped for Thanksgiving dinner yet, you’ll find the printable shopping lists at FreePrintableGroceryList.com helpful. (There are other holiday lists at the site geared toward planning for Christmas, Hanukkah, and other holidays.) Plus, there's a turkey recipe card at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net.

The dozens of Thanksgiving coloring pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net range from a turkey wearing a pilgrim hat to Thanksgiving foods. There are even more coloring pages to choose from, including games and activities, at ThanksgivingPrintables.net. Plus, there are Thanksgiving writing prompts at FreeWritingPrompts.net.

Letterhead Templates

I’ve added a new batch of letterhead to FreeLetterheadTemplates.net, focused on Christmas stationery.

The new letterhead designs include cute Santas, green elves, and Christmas ornaments. There’s a sweet peppermint lollipop as well as other smiling Kawaii-style objects: a package, a stocking, and more. Some of the letterhead has a light snowflake background. These are all great for holiday letters, flyers, and more.

The number of letterhead templates at the site now totals nearly 300. And it’s not just holiday letterhead. You’ll find business letterhead, wedding letterhead, monogram letterhead, and even letterhead for kids.

Pat G., who is enjoying my site with coloring pages for grownups, wrote in with a really cool idea. “I really loved Effervescence,” she said of one of the nature coloring pages, which has a bubbly feel to it. “I printed it on transferable paper and ironed it on Aida cloth as a subtle background to a cross stitch pattern. Blue would have been nicer but the faint grey is very pretty for my chart.” Very creative, Pat!

Popular Printables

If your holidays are like mine, you have a ton of stuff to do. Not just for the events themselves, but at home, work, school, or whatever you have going on. Fortunately, I have a site just for to do lists, and there are 65 from which to choose. This week, I looked at which of the to do lists are most popular.

A simple checklist is the No. 1 most downloaded printable at the site. Coming in second is one titled My To-Do List. That’s followed by a Things to Do Today list with room to note progress.

The Top 15 also includes complex to do lists, such as cleaning checklists, a chores list, a task-based list, and a student planner. Also hot are a day planner sheet, a daily plan with two on one page, a page that looks like it was torn from a notebook, and a “Who, What, When” checklist.

The site also has holiday to do lists, for partying planning, gift shopping, card sending, and other events.
