The Solo Edition
Get out your crayons, pens, pencils, markers, and various tools of a coloring nature. Just because I’ve been adding a lot of coloring pages for grown-ups to AdultColoringPages.net doesn’t mean I’ll be neglecting the kids’ pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. I’ve just added a batch of new printables to that site, which now has a whopping 4,355 coloring sheets, all of them free to download and print. I must confess: I like coloring pages of virtually any topic or design, simple or complex, a fact that very much pleases my 8-year-old daughter and frequent coloring partner.

Also this week, you’ll find a diverse assortment of new monologues for actors at InstantMonologues.com. This site has grown into a great resource for auditions and more, and I hope you’ll tell your actor friends about it.
Instant Monologues
Actors and aspiring actors of all ages can choose from 30 new, free monologues and soliloquies at InstantMonologues.com.

There are classic, dramatic, and comedic monologues at the site, which now has 126 altogether. You’ll find a few monologues that have been around for a long time, while many of these are original works, professionally written especially for InstantMonologues.com. Topics for the unique dramatic monologues range from treatment of animals to a sorrowful death scene. There’s even one about tacos. This batch of additions includes monologues suited to men and women as well as child and teen monologues.

The classical monologues include works from Shakespeare, Ibsen, Marlowe, Gilbert and Sullivan, and Ben Jonson. Actors can showcase their skills with bits from Ophelia, HMS Pinafore, Henry V, and others.

The monologues are formatted in professional script style, with all stage cues included. Varied lengths lend themselves to one- to five-minute auditions.

All of the monologues and soliloquies at InstantMonologues.com are free to download as PDF or DOC, print, and use in your auditions or rehearsals.
New Coloring Pages
My grownup coloring pages site still has a way to go before it reaches the sheer volume of FreePrintableColoringPages.net, but that’s because I’ve been adding to my kids’ coloring site since its launch nearly a decade ago in 2006.

The newest coloring pages include some fun, geometric and 3D shapes. The angles are fun to color in with bright crayons, pencils, and markers. I’ve also added a selection of nature coloring pages, especially trees. There’s a tropical palm, a few bushy shade trees, bare branches, an abstract cactus, and even some saplings.

FreePrintableColoringPages.net is also the place to go for fun and spooky Halloween coloring pages, and there are categories for virtually every major holiday at the site.

There are also a great many animal coloring pages, alphabet sheets, educational history coloring pages, and much more, all organized by category. In recent years I’ve expanded the site to include color by number, how to draw, find the differences, and hidden objects coloring pages.

Everything at the site is absolutely free and downloads instantly in easy-to-print format.

Please keep those emails coming! I need your ideas on what printables to add next. Thanks and happy printing!
