The Mandatory Fun Edition |
One of the coolest things I’ve done so far in 2015 is
attend a “Weird Al” Yankovic concert. I’ve dug that funny dude since he was on the Doctor Demento program in the 1970s. Weird Al’s song parodies are perfect, and his show at the Oregon Zoo was awesome. I hope I have this much fun in 2016 (cue transition…)
But the future is now thanks to my addition this week of more 2016 calendars to the aptly named site Printable2016calendars.com. I’ve added to the basic selection of full-page and year-on-one-page calendars with even more designs.
Plus, I’ve already added more coloring pages to my site that’s just for grown-ups, a site with intricate, relaxing patterns that
are totally appropriate in every way. The designs at AdultColoringPages.net have smaller areas to color in and tend to be nature and geometric patterns as opposed to cute kid stuff like you’ll find at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. | |

Awhile back I launched Printable2016calendars.com with a selection of full-page and all-on-one page calendars to download and print for free. Even though the new year is more than three months off, I was already getting emails about when more 2016 calendars would be
added. I love how FreePrintable.net site users like to think ahead!
There are now even more horizontal and vertical year-on-a-page calendars, including academic years, designs with space for notes, and more. I’ve also added versions with two months on each page and there are large print calendars with very bold numbers. For the basic, full-page monthly calendars, you can download and print one
month at a time, or the entire year at once.
Some of the year-on-a-page calendars indicate holidays in red, some shade the weekends, and others start on Monday. By request, I’ve added year-on-a-page calendars with even larger print than before.
There are lots of calendars to choose from for home
or business, and they are all absolutely free to download and print in PDF or editable DOC format. And for those who aren’t ready to let go of the current year, the 2015 calendars can still be found at Printable2015calendars.com.

Wow! Just wow. The response to the coloring pages for grown-ups at AdultColoringPages.net has been amazing. So many of you like to chill out with pens and colored pencils and a
calming, intricate coloring sheet.
The pages range from pretty nature coloring pages to soothing abstract designs and interesting geometric patterns. These coloring pages for grown-ups differ from FreePrintableColoringPages.net (a site I launched in 2006 that has grown to 4,330 pages) in that they are more intricate, with lots of small areas to color in with fine-point pens or colored pencils.
Everything at AdultColoringPages.net
is totally free and also totally appropriate for relaxing at home or taking on the go, to decompress during work breaks and so on.
Also, I’d like to thank you for your ideas on what you’d like to see next. A few people wrote in asking for “knotwork” type pages, and I do have some of those on the way in the coming weeks. Others like nature scenes, and I have those in the works, too.
