This past week, my wife and I got to enjoy some of the
things we love most about the Portland, Oregon area. I went on a hike along the Eagle Creek Trail and saw a beautiful little waterfall. And on Sunday, my wife and I got up super early to volunteer at the Portland Marathon, a community event that draws thousands of runners and spectators. What a great week!

As a longtime fan of science, I’ve been wanting to expand the section of periodic tables at TeachersPrintables.net for quite some time. Now, I’ve added some nice charts, as well as a letter-size printable for each element on the periodic table, along with its atomic number and atomic mass.
These new classroom printables are perfect for projects in which students are assigned to write a report on one element. All 118 elements are included, from Hydrogen to Ununoctium. There are now nearly 1,000 printables at the site, ranging from forms for teachers to use to printables for parents and students. You’ll find attendance charts, grading sheets, graphic organizers, blank lesson plans, parent communication forms, hall passes, seating charts, sign in sheets,
classroom management tools, substitute teacher forms, and sign language printables.
These classroom printables are time- and money-savers for busy teachers as well as homeschooling parents. I’ve been adding to TeachersPrintables.net since its launch in 2008.
Other recent additions include foldables (such as booklets and pouches) and poem templates.
Everything at TeachersPrintables.net is free to download and print individually. Also available for purchase is a single-classroom ($27) or whole-school license ($67) to download the entire collection and print again and again.

Both of those programs are free and robust, yet some DOC files just don’t show up correctly when opened in Open Office or Libre Office. That’s why I created these sites just for .ODT and .ODS format printables.
Everything at both OpenOfficeTemplates.com and LibreOfficeTemplates.net is free to download and print.
Please keep sending me your idea for
more printables. I’m added lots more soon, for the holidays and beyond. Happy printing!
