Fall is here! My favorite season. My wife and I are
already in delicious soup-cooking mode here in Portland, Oregon. Plus, autumn means that it’s almost time for new holiday printables at many of my sites. I have a lot in the pipeline, but please send me your ideas for more printables. I’ll be adding to existing sites and maybe even launching new sites in the coming months. But first, I need to tell you what’s new!
This week, I added 50 cute new borders to PageBorders.net and there are now more than 700 designs at the site. You’ll also find new rulers for school, work, and hobbies at PrintableRulers.net. | |

The latest batch of additions to PageBorders.net are cute, cute, cute! Many of the 50 new borders feature Kawaii designs:
happy little animals or even inanimate objects with smiling faces. The illustrations include art supplies, a light bulb, paints, perfume, bow ties, pool balls, a cactus plant, toothpaste, a video game controller, and a pushpin. These are perfect borders for kids or school.
I’ve also added new animal borders, and most of them are creatures from the sea such as an orca whale, fish, a lobster, a shark, a turtle, a whale, and a walrus.
There are a few groovy page borders, such as a lava lamp and a record album, while other designs are more abstract. Those include outer space star borders, lens flares, and orange diamonds. This batch also includes several pink themes, some of them floral borders. You’ll also find new sports borders.
The page borders can be used in various ways. They make great flyers, stationery, frames, and more. You can download borders for free in either Microsoft Word DOC, PDF, PNG, or JPG format. If you’d like a
version you can edit in the graphic design program Adobe Illustration, the AI version is $7 per design.

The new rulers include professional rulers such as an
architect scale ruler and an engineer’s ruler, along with rulers for hobbies such as train sets, with the measurements at varying intervals based on scale.
There are also a few new pocket-sized rulers, plus a variety of short rulers where several are reproduced on the page, making them an economical choice for the classroom. (Print on cardstock and laminate for extra
durability.)
Another new ruler, which can also be used as a drawing tool, indicates units via high-contrast boxes rather than lines or tick marks.
The rulers download instantly in easy-to-print PDF format. Be sure to print at 100 percent (actual size) so your rulers will measure correctly. Some, such as the long rulers, will need to be cut out and assembled. They are all completely
free!
Thanks for all your emails and ideas for new printables. I have more on the way! Happy printing!
