The Superdad Edition
I don’t just make awesome printables; I’m Dad of the Year. That’s according to my wife and 8-year-old daughter. We were on a family vacation last week and suddenly my daughter’s beloved stuffed kitty, Moosey, was sucked out of our van by a burst of wind. This black-and-white cat had been her constant companion for five-plus years, and “replacement” Mooseys of the same brand are never beloved. So of course we pulled over and backtracked so I could carefully retrieve Moosey from the roadway. Now we are home, and after a “bath” (trip through the washer and dryer), Moosey is looking much better.

Now that I’ve recovered from that harrowing experience, I want to tell you about new printables, including a cool new feature at FreePrintableBusinessCards.net. I also have new charts, graphic organizers, homework forms, and other classroom printables up at TeachersPrintables.net.
PDF Business Cards
I recently added something new to FreePrintableBusinessCards.net, my site that has been offering business cards in DOC format since 2005. Now, users who don’t have Microsoft Word or another compatible program can simply input their information into a form on the site and instantly generate a sheet of custom business cards as a PDF file they can save and/or print.

Pretty much any computer or mobile device can open and print PDF files, which makes this new feature extremely accessible to anyone needing to print their own business cards. And it’s free!

I’ve launched the PDF feature with 25 illustrated designs ranging from nature business cards to abstract business cards. There’s a butterfly, technology-inspired cards, a painter’s palette, and more. But I plan on adding more PDF-friendly designs in the future.

In the meantime, FreePrintableBusinessCards.net has 1,327 business cards to download and print in DOC form. They’re free in a version that includes the site URL at the bottom of each card, or $3 per design if you’d like to delete the URL.
Teachers Printables
As school is starting nearly everywhere (yay!), I’ve added a batch of new classroom printables to TeachersPrintables.net.

The 31 new additions include graphic organizers, parent communication forms, charts, homework tools, worksheets, and more.

There’s a new attendance sign-in sheet, a book check-out list, classroom supplies labels, emotion cards to help children identify how they’re feeling, detention slips for classroom management, a GPA grading chart, an intervention log, a student injury report, and some permission slips. I’ve also added a set of worksheets for students to fill out in reading circles. Plus, there are new math charts, such as decimal place value guides, square roots, and sin-co-tan charts.

Some of the forms are appropriate for home school as well, such as grade book paper for just one student. You’ll also find a blank transcript and even a kid growth tracker for height. TeachersPrintables.net also has lots of sign language charts.

There are 857 classroom printables at TeachersPrintables.net, all free to download and print individually in PDF or DOC format. Or, classroom and whole-school licenses that include downloads of all the printables at the site are $27 and $67, respectively.

Thanks for sending me your ideas for new printables. Happy printing!
