I hope my daughters are planning super-cute gifts for
me for Father’s Day. If not, I’ll accept hugs and a tasty breakfast. (Our 8-year-old surprised my wife with cumin-and-sugar toast last weekend. Sadly not tasty.) This year, Father’s Day falls on Sunday, June 21. Keep reading to find a roundup of printables just for Dad.
This week, I added new cover letters to CoverLetterExamples.net. There are several new articles with tips on letter-writing, along with nearly two dozen letters covering work, academic, and fund-raising situations. | |

There are a slew of Dad-themed printables at my various FreePrintable.net sites.
You’ll find “World’s Greatest Dad” and “Father of the Year” awards at FreePrintableCertificates.net, along with certificates you can print out for Grandpa or a godfather. There
are even funny joke certificates such as “King of the Grill” and “Goofiest Dad.” They’re free as PDFs you can write on, or $5 each for a DOC version you can type into before printing.

I’ve added new cover letters to CoverLetterExamples.net. Several are intended for the most common use of a cover letter: accompanying a resume for job-seekers. There’s a very
brief cover letter, one with bullet points, one formatted to list comparisons, a cover letter for a director, and other variations. There are also a couple of new sales-related cover letters.
Other categories of sample cover letters at the site include academic cover letters as well as wording to accompany requests for funding, such as donations to non-profits and loans. I’ve also added a request
for medical letters, a request for a price quote, and other targeted cover letters.
A new category at CoverLetterExamples.net is Motivation Letters, and it includes letters relating to business degrees, mortgages, and volunteering.
The new articles cover topics including the different styles of cover
letters, a personal statement versus a cover letter, and more.
All of the cover letters are free to download and print. The preformatted letters can be opened in Microsoft Word or any DOC-compatible program, or simply cut and paste the text directly from the site. Then, change the wording of the letter as-needed to suit your situation.
Thanks so much for sending me your ideas for new printables! I have more on the way this summer. Happy printing!
