Here’s one from the science nerd files: This week I stumbled across
a video from a 1984 television program in which technology commentator Fred D’Ignazio tells interviewer Mark Fryburg that “robot maids” are unfortunately 10 to 20 years in the future. By my calculations, we should have had automatons cleaning up for us since at least 2004. So I have one thing to say: “Where’s my robot, Fred?”

The newest stationery designs include: fairies, wizards, unicorns, along with a diverse selection of multi-colored abstract patterns serving as borders and backgrounds.
There are new patriotic designs with the U.S. flag or the Statue of Liberty and even a heart-shaped version of the stars and stripes. You’ll also find stationery with emblems from Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, and Mexico. There is also some new religious
stationery with Christian crosses.
You can use the stationery as letterhead, by typing in your address and message or printing and writing by hand, old-school style. Or, use the stationery as a border for flyers. It downloads instantly, free, in DOC format for use with Microsoft Word and other compatible
programs.

One of my newer sites, FreePrintableFlags.com, has generated a lot of positive feedback for its free, easy-to-print flags from all over the world. I’ve just added 50 more,
bringing the collection at the site to 181 flags.
The 50 new flags include: Albania, Anguilla, Armenia, Bhutan, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Chad, Croatia, Laos, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal,
Nicaragua, Palestine, Panama, Saint Lucia, Suriname, Syria, Tanzania, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and many more.
There are nations represented from Europe to Africa to South America and everywhere in between. FreePrintableFlags.com also has flags from the Caribbean and Pacific Islands as well as Oceania.
The flags are available for instant download in full-color or an outline version that kids (or grownups) can color in with pencils or crayons. If you’re looking
for free printable maps, head over to PrintableWorldMap.net.
Thanks for sending me your ideas for new printables. Keep those emails coming, and happy
printing!
