Cats vs. Dogs Edition

Last year, my younger daughter did her science fair project on cookies. This year’s experiment was much less delicious. She observed the behavior of our family’s dog and cats. She concluded: “Cats are scared of strangers. Dogs like round toys the best. Next time pick a different cat.” Scientific genius at work, folks! Next year, though, I vote for more cookies.

Meanwhile, my own homework involved putting up 41 new charts, trackers, and other health-related forms at FreePrintableMedicalForms.com. There are also 40 new recipe cards at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net.

New Medical Forms
I get a lot of feedback on FreePrintableMedicalForms.com, which is one of my most popular and most helpful sites. It’s gratifying to know that these forms, charts, trackers, and other printables can help medical offices, caregivers, and others stay healthy and organized.

The newest medical forms include various intake and assessment forms and a multi-page pregnancy journal covering all stages of gestation. There are also new pet-related veterinary forms.

There are also several wallet-sized medical forms, including allergy cards alerting restaurant workers, caregivers, and others of various allergies ranging from gluten to dairy to peanuts. There’s also a card that can be presented discreetly by people with medical conditions that require them to urgently access a restroom.

I’ve added new forms for babies and children, such as trackers with wide spaces and cute illustrations so kids can log their allergies, illnesses, medications, operations, and vaccinations. These can also be collected into a binder or journal, allowing a child to feel more involved in his or her own health care.

You’ll also find: a health appointment record, dream and meditation journals, medication schedule checklist, a nursing care plan, oximeter reading log, and medical office signs alerting patients to policies relating to billing and insurance.

There are now 419 forms at the site, all free to download to print in PDF form. In most cases, a premium DOC version is available for $3.99, a useful option if you’d like to be able to edit and type into the form before printing. The entire collection of medical forms can be purchased in one download for $47.
Recipe Cards
With the latest addition of 40 new recipe cards to FreePrintableRecipeCards.net, there are now nearly 500 cards to choose from.

The new designs include several drink recipe cards, from cocktails and wine to smoothies. There are several new sweets and cake recipe cards, including a wedding cake theme and four different cupcake designs. The site also has cookie recipe cards, perfect for “cookie exchanges” where home bakers swap their favorite cookie recipes.

Some of the new designs are simple nature scenes, such as flowers. I’ve also added fruit recipe cards, a corndog card, international recipe cards, and holiday recipe cards.

The recipe cards are available in lined and unlined versions, in 3-by-5-inch and 4-by-6-inch sizes, and in some cases 8-by-10 recipe cards.

The recipe cards can be printed out for free in PDF form so you can write recipes on them longhand. If you want to take a more modern approach and type into the cards before printing (a good idea if you want to share your recipes with others), the editable DOC version is $7 per design.

Thanks so much for emailing me with your ideas for new printables! Happy printing!
