2016 Time Machine Edition
You may think 2015 just started, and you’d be right. But in the parallel universe that is FreePrintable.net, 2016 has also started. By which I mean, Printable2016calendars.com is already up and running, with basic 2016 calendars for those who really like to plan ahead. I’ll add more variations as we get closer to the new new year. Of course, for those of you living in the now, Printable2015calendars.com has everything you need.

This week, I’ve added 53 new printable papers to PrintablePaper.net, so please keep reading for a rundown of those, along with what’s up and what’s planned for the 2016 calendars.

Also, I wanted to take a moment to highlight a few printables for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which this year is celebrated on Monday, Jan. 19. There’s a coloring page and a certificate as well as classroom worksheets honoring and educating about the great civil rights leader.

New Printable Paper
So. Much. Paper. There are now 1,502 papers at PrintablePaper.net. Wow! I started the site back in 2008 with basic lined and graph papers, but it’s expanded well beyond what I had ever imagined, to include everything from printable games to craft paper to other specialty paper.

The new batch of paper includes cool tessellation paper with pentagons and hexagons and other configurations that I don’t fully understand but I’m told are useful to engineers and artists. There’s new polar graph paper (pictured), as well as some new columnar pad paper.

There are a lot of new calendars at PrintablePaper.net, with specific, interesting designs such as grids that divide three years into months, or a week into half-days by quarter hour, or 13 weeks into six days (for stock market tracking), and other variations.

I’ve added three line widths of paper in pale green, for people with vision issues, or who just like green paper. You’ll also find a 5-by-5 and a 10-by-10 geoboard for showing geometric shapes in math classes.

And, I have added penmanship paper guides to writing alphabets in seven languages: Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Russian, and Runic characters. There’s a key as well as a sheet that has blank spaces for filling in the letters oneself.

But my personal favorite among the new stuff is the paper airplane, origami, and snowflake templates. Fun times with paper and scissors! There’s also a neat printable guide to collecting U.S. state quarters and a contract bridge score sheet.

Almost everything at the site is free to download and print in PDF, and, in some cases, DOC (Microsoft Word) format. For a few of the printables (such as budgets and score sheets), the PDF version is free while the editable DOC is $4.
2016 Calendars
Are you ready for 2016? I’m not, but at least my newest site is. Printable2016calendars.com is already up and running with the most popular calendars that I’ve been putting out for the past several years.

You’ll find each month of 2016 as a separate page, a 12-months all-in-one download, a 2016 calendar with “mini months” on each sheet, and a 2015-16 academic calendar.

As 2016 gets closer, I’ll add the full complement of calendars, including year-on-one-page and specialty sizes. Plus, there will be a few new designs next year.

If you’re not ready to look 2016 in the eye just yet, there are dozens of designs at Printable2015calendars.com, and you can generate and download all kinds of calendars at RocketCalendar.com.

All of the 2016 calendars are free to download and print in PDF or DOC form. The DOC version can be customized by typing into it in Microsoft Word or another compatible program, so you can add appointments, birthdays, and so on.

Please keep your ideas coming! I have much more on the way for 2015, 2016, and beyond. Happy printing!
