Super Spooky Edition
Last Halloween, my wife and I decided to dress up as firefighters. Our matching yellow firefighter costumes would be the perfect accessory for us and our Dalmatian. We ordered our costumes before Halloween and waited, and waited. And waited. Halloween came and went (we ended up not dressing up) and the firefighting outfits finally arrived the first week of November. Sooooo last Halloween was a bust, but we are really prepared for this Halloween, when we'll dress up as firefighters, for sure this time.

My sites have all kinds of printable masks, certificates, gift tags, coloring pages, and other Halloween printables. To help find what you need, just visit the main FreePrintable.net site, which has a search tool.
Also, this week I’ve added nearly 100 new printables to PrintablePaper.net, plus two dozen apology letters to ApologyLetters.net.
New Printable Paper
PrintablePaper.net, which has reached 1,450 printables, now has an entirely new category dedicated to printable brochures. There are 56 brochures there, both tri-fold and bi-fold, all free to download and print.

Businesses and other topics featured on the illustrated brochures include: animals, attorneys, autos, babies, child care, Christmas, church, fitness, hotels, housecleaning, lawn care, salons, tech, travel, and weddings. There are also colorful designs without specific themes.

The brochures are DOC files so it’s easy to type directly onto the design in Microsoft Word before printing. There’s placeholder text for company or topic information, bullet points, and client testimonials.

I’ve also added 42 new variations of music paper. This paper shows musical staffs in various configurations, in bass and treble clef, and so on. The newest additions include “1 system of 8 staves,” “2 systems of 4 staves,” and some other things that I don’t come across while I’m playing piano, but I’m told that musicians will find them useful. There are also some new piano-specific papers as well as paper labeled for quintets, duets, a hymn, a string orchestra, and other special arrangements. Some of the designs include room for annotations at the bottom or on the side.

PrintablePaper.net has graph paper, lined paper, printable games, paper for crafts, and other specialty paper. Everything at the site has a free option for PDF, and, in most cases, DOC. (A few printables, such as budgets and score sheets, are free as PDF and $4 for an editable version.)
Apology Letters
If you need to apologize for a professional or personal misstep, a letter is often the first order of business. It’s a classy, tangible way to take ownership of your mistake, and could end up saving a job, or keeping a friend.

I’ve added 24 new apology letters to ApologyLetters.net. They include letters from businesses to customers, addressing defective products, long wait times, unsolicited email, and other matters. There are also letters for employees to write when they’ve engaged in unprofessional behavior such as insubordination.

Plus, you’ll find new letters relating to personal misbehavior, with frameworks on how to apologize for offending someone, for getting angry, for calling someone by the wrong name, and for various family and personal misdeeds.

There are even some sample apologies for children, intended to serve as a prompt to get young people’s minds moving as they craft their own letter. In fact, although any of the letters at ApologyLetters.net can be used as-is, they’re best seen as a jumping off point to your own, sincere letter based on your own circumstances. To help, the site also has several articles with tips on how to write an apology letter.

There are now more than 150 example letters at ApologyLetters.net, all of them free to download and print. It’s a sister site to the handy resources at GoodbyeLetters.net, LetterOfHardship.net, and CharacterReferenceLetters.com.

Thanks to those who have sent me your ideas for new printables! I’m very close to unveiling a new site. Please email me with your ideas for what you’d like to see next. Happy printing!
