Opera Singer Edition

My wife and I went to the Portland Opera last weekend, because we’re fancy like that. Or, at least we felt fancy that night, for Die Fledermaus. We enjoyed the performance and the classiness of it all was a nice contrast to earlier in the week when I went grocery shopping in my pajamas. To be fair, my 7-year-old daughter was having a sleepover, and they needed French toast. NEEEEEDED it. We were out of eggs. It was a 7 a.m. French toast emergency.

As for printables, I’ve planned ahead and added even more design variations to Printable2015Calendars.com. Plus, there are two dozen new cover letters at CoverLetterExamples.net.

2015 Calendars
My Printable2015Calendars.com site has been “live” for quite awhile now, and I’m always a little surprised how early people want or need their printable calendars. Way to go, early birds! Now, 2015 is truly right around the corner so I’ve added even more format variations to the site.

The new 2015 calendar designs include specialty styles such as bookmark calendars, a calendar that you can stick to your computer monitor, a calendar that fits inside a CD case (a fun little craft project), a “cute” calendar with scallops, 3-by-4-inch calendar cards for scrapbooking, an academic calendar, and one that separates days by morning, afternoon, and night.

And, of course, the site has the most popular, basic calendar designs such as full-page months, year-in-one-download, large print, year-on-one-page, and horizontal and vertical variations.

I’m sure you’ll find a calendar that suits your needs for the coming year at Printable2015Calendars.com. If you’re still living in the past, or planning for December, the 2014 calendar site is at Printable2014Calendars.com. I’ve got 2016 in the works, and I’ll let you know as soon as that site is ready for prime time.

All of the calendars are free and available in either PDF or DOC form. The latter option is great if you’d like to type in birthdays, appointments, and other info into the calendar using Microsoft Word (or another compatible program) before printing.

New Cover Letters

There are dozens of sample cover letters at CoverLetterExamples.net, and not just for jobs but for academics, grant and donation requests, sales, and other legal and personal situations.

I’ve just added 24 new letter templates. There are several new resume-related cover letters that join a wide array of general and specific job cover letters, including letters tailored to certain positions and careers. The new, job-specific letters are designed for bookkeepers, breweries, baristas, cashiers, librarians, hostesses, dental assistants, and several more.

The site also has 14 articles with tips on how to write a good cover letter, including etiquette, formatting, “action words,” and more. The newest articles address the best way to open and close a cover letter.

The letters at CoverLetterExamples.net are intended to be used as a jumping-off point so you can type into a letter, customizing it to your own situation. All of the letters are free to download in DOC format, edit, and print, or simply cut and paste the text of a letter directly from the site. They are all free.

I have lots more printables on the way, but please keep sending me your ideas. Thanks and happy printing!
