Big Trees Edition

With my wife out of town on a volunteer project and my older daughter off at (gulp) college, I was able to spend a lot of one-on-one time this week with my younger daughter. She's in second grade and we like a lot of the same things, such as cartoons, board games, cats, and being silly. I didn't work as much as usual over the last few days, but I was still able to add some great new printables for you.

With my latest additions, there are now more than 100 family trees at FamilyTreeTemplates.net, and PrintableMasks.net has 354 masks to download and print for free.

New Family Trees

FamilyTreeTemplates.net continues to expand to fill more genealogy and family memory needs with the addition of two dozen new family trees, ancestor charts, and decorative wedding-themed designs.

So many of you have asked for larger, multi-page trees and charts with spaces on which to add even more generations and family members. I'm now offering 10-generation family trees as well as plain and illustrated nine-generation family trees. So, whether you want to record two, three, four, or more generations, I've got you covered.

FamilyTreeTemplates.net also has pretty, new illustrated trees such as a peacock-shaped tree and several trees intended to be printed out and signed at weddings, and/or framed and displayed in the home.

The new genealogy charts and research forms include: several ancestry timelines, an "eco map" to track emotional relationships among family members, oral history interview forms, and genograms that use symbols to indicate medical and other issues.

There's also a blank bordered sheet on which to do gravestone rubbings with wax or crayon and identify where they were done.

There is a wide selection of printable family trees at FamilyTreeTemplates.net, from fan charts to family trees for kids and trees for non-traditional families. Each design is free in a PDF version you can print out and write upon. Most (but not all) of the trees and charts are also available in DOC format so you can type names and stats in using Microsoft Word.

Printable Masks

Kids (and grownups) have even more animals, people, and fantasy creatures to choose from among the new additions to PrintableMasks.net. Whether you want to be a dragon for Halloween or a pirate anytime, there's a mask for you to download and print, absolutely free.

The new masks include animal masks as well as fun, comical people masks. There are big-toothed beaver masks, a chicken, bulls and cows, a moose, owls, raccoons, eagles, kangaroos,

There's a '70s guy, bikers, samurai, Vikings, wrestlers, robots, kings, knights, detectives, gnomes, historical characters, sports players, and tycoons. These are great for Halloween parties. Besides the full-face masks, PrintableMasks.net now has eye masks and Mardi Gras masks.

Most of the masks have both a full-color version and a black-and-white outlined version to color with crayons, pencils, or markers.

Again, all of the masks are free to download and print. Or, download the entire collection of more than 350 masks for $15. I recommend printing onto cardstock for a sturdier mask. PrintableMasks.net has instructions on how to make a mask.

Please keep sending me your ideas for new printables. I have much more on the way for the holidays and beyond. Thanks and happy printing!
