Several of the new additions are vertical and horizontal orientations of the popular year-on-one-page design. Some of the new 2015 calendars have holidays indicated in red. Some are on a grid, and a few have weekends shaded or the weeks starting on Monday rather than Sunday.

There's also a design with three months on one page as well an academic calendar. I've added a new colorful calendar, a calendar with mini months, and a design with pretty flowers on it.

If you'd prefer to live for today, the Printable2014calendars.com site has dozens of designs to choose from for the current year and each month. And at RocketCalendar.com, you can instantly generate a calendar for any year from 1800 to 2099.

All of the calendars are free to download and print in PDF or DOC form. The DOC version can be opened in Microsoft Word or another compatible program so that you can type in birthdays, meetings, and other important dates.

It's a banner day... No, that pun is awful. What isn't awful is the selection of banners I've added to PrintableBanners.net. There are 25 new premade banner designs from which to choose, and 153 at the site altogether. They're all free to download and print.

The new additions include ready-to-print signs indicating sales as well as events such as "auditions," "bingo night," "book fair," and "food drive." There are also signs for holidays, a few Spanish signs, and graduation and engagement signs. You'll find signs for home, business, church, school banners, and more.

The banners print with one letter on each sheet of paper, so you can tape them to a wall or window, string them up, or otherwise display them.
