Birthday Edition

Thanks so much for your responses to my birthday survey! Thanks, also, for the happy birthday well-wishes. In addition to wonderful suggestions for printable things that many of you made, some of you are comedians. Here's one funny reply: In answer to "Is there anything you have looked for on the web recently but couldn't find...?" someone replied: "A recipe to hide leftover tofu in (that my daughter left here before she went back to university) that my husband will eat and not know the tofu is in there. I don't want to just throw it out." Sorry, there are some problems that printables can't help with. If you missed the survey, it's not too late, here's the birthday survey link again.

This week, I've added more than 100 new coloring pages, masks, and paper dolls. They're great summer fun for kids. Print a bunch out and bring them along on a road trip. Enjoy!

New Coloring Pages

I've added 100 new designs to FreePrintableColoringPages.net, a site I started way back in 2006. It's now up to 4,166 coloring pages, all of them free to download and print!

The new additions are find the differences pages, in which two pictures are shown and kids get to figure out what's in the top picture but missing from the bottom one. Then, they can color in the design. There are animals, seasonal scenes, and other themes. It's a fun complement to the selection of hidden object pages as well as learn-to-draw designs I've added to the site.

FreePrintableColoringPages.net also has hundreds of animal coloring pages, holiday themes (such as Father's Day coloring pages), and many other topics such as: birthday, landscapes, the alphabet, outer space, and state and world flags.

For even more fun, check out my dot-to-dot site at DotToDots.net. It has more than 500 cute dot-to-dot puzzles with letters and numbers to follow.

The coloring pages and puzzles download free in PNG form, viewable from virtually any printer. Just click and print.

Printable Masks and Paper Dolls

Get ready for some creative play time. I've just added a bunch of new masks to PrintableMasks.net as well as new paper dolls to PrintablePaperDolls.net.

The masks are fun for kids and adults alike, and feature both people and animals, many in both full-color and color-it-yourself designs.

The new printable masks include several animal masks, from a buck-toothed beaver to a lipsticked cow with a bow on her head. There's a chicken, mooses (meese?), owls, raccoons, and more.

There are also new people masks, including bikers, samurai, Vikings, wrestlers, race car drivers, knights, a king, and my favorite, a '70s guy. There are also several robot masks.

PrintableMasks.net now has more than 300 masks to choose from. They're each free to download individually. Or, opt for the mask collection in one convenient download for $15. You can cut the masks out and tie them to your face with string, or put them on a stick and hold them in front of you, masquerade party style.

At PrintablePaperDolls.net, you'll find a variety of people to cut out and play with. The new additions include cowboys and cowgirls, chefs, clowns, and fashion models. The paper dolls are culturally diverse and include both male and female dolls as well, which is great for creative play.

The site has everything from career and sports paper dolls to traditional favorites such as ballerina, fairy, and princess paper dolls.

Most of the designs at the site have both full-color and color it yourself versions. There are also printable sheets with extra clothing, accessories, and hairstyles. Print on cardstock for extra durability. Everything at the site is free. If you'd like the convenience of all 256 printables in an all-in-one download, opt for the $9 paper doll collection.

Thanks again to those of you who took my birthday survey. It's not too late! I'm still reading though everyone's awesome suggestions and feedback. Happy printing!
