Kevin's FreePrintable.net news
A-Mazing Edition

I've added to my site, CoverLetterExamples.net, that offers free cover letter templates for jobs and other pursuits. It's a complement to InstantResumeTemplates.com as well as LettersOfRecommendation.net. All this job stuff got me thinking back to one of my first jobs, which was at a pizza parlor. Then I got to thinking about pizza. Then I was hungry. Also new this week is a selection of mazes at PrintableMazes.net. I'm especially excited about these 12 new sets of mazes because I hadn't updated the site since its launch in 2009. No, I didn't get distracted by pizza. I just wanted to make sure I had an awesome selection of mazes to offer you. I think these fit the bill.

Cover Letter Samples

I've added 30 new cover letters to CoverLetterExamples.net. Most of them are job-related, but there are also letters relating to scholarships, grants, research projects, and more.

You can use these letters almost as-is, by replacing placeholder text with your own information, or use them as a jumping-off point to write your own cover letter. There are even some fill-in-the-blanks style letters. CoverLetterExamples.net also has several articles with tips on what to include in such a letter, formatting your letter, and other helpful specifics.

These new letters come just in time for high school and college graduation, for those entering the workforce or starting new careers. Besides general cover letters, there are also examples for specific positions such as: teacher, daycare worker, lawyer, waiter, judge, and doctor. Plus, you'll find cover letters tailored to job fairs and volunteer positions.

CoverLetterExamples.net also has dozens of letters that aren't related to jobs but rather address fundraisers, serve as questionnaires, or accompany applications for membership, publication, and more.

All of the letters are free to download and print. They're in DOC format, so you can open and edit them with any compatible word processor. Or, simply cut and paste the text directly from the site.

Printable Mazes

I'm really pleased to finally be adding new puzzles to PrintableMazes.net. The collection I launched the site with has proved popular, but this time I've added 12 sets of 10 mazes each that are all easy, fun, hand-drawn designs. They're colorful and whimsical and overall a different look and feel than the computer-generated mazes.

The new mazes let children and grownups alike find their way through paths created upon animals, dinosaurs, foods, objects, and more. There's a set of holiday mazes, too.

PrintableMazes.net has easy mazes as well as medium, hard, and difficult mazes in various shapes and sizes. They're all easy-to-open PDF files. The mazes are great for anything from keeping kids busy during long car rides to keeping on hand at restaurants and doctors' offices. Adults will likely be stumped by the most difficult mazes.

Each of the 10-maze sets is free to download and print. Or, purchase maze book collections for $9 each for a section of 150 mazes based on difficulty level.

Please keep those emails coming! I'm always on the lookout for new printables ideas. Thanks and happy printing!
