Kevin's FreePrintable.net news
I Love My Mom Edition

I've added a slew of new stuff to the FreePrintable.net sites this week, ranging from gift tags to certificates to Mother's Day printables.

The new gift tags at FreePrintableGiftTags.net are for occasions such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduation, and birthdays. They're super-cute, and in this batch, you have the choice of a white or colored background, depending on the paper you use.

There are also 51 new certificates at FreePrintableCertificates.net, including lots for graduation and grade promotion.

New Certificates

I've added 51 designs to FreePrintableCertificates.net. The timing is great, since many of the new certificates are related to graduation or school promotion.

The just-added school certificates include: Super Student, Science Fair (several variations), and Spelling Bee. Plus, there are quite a few new graduation certificates for every milestone from preschool and pre-kindergarten to high school and college. Many feature a distinctive mortarboard or other full-color designs and decorative borders.

I also put up several certificates relating to holidays, including a Mother's Day certificate for honoring a mom or someone who is like a mother to you. There's even a summer solstice certificate.

These new certificates join a huge collection that includes kid certificates and joke certificates as well as formal business achievement certificates.

There are now more than 1,400 certificates to choose from at FreePrintableCertificates.net, a site I started back in 2005. They're absolutely free to download in PDF form (just print them out and write on them in pen), and still just $5 for a version you can edit in Microsoft Word or another compatible word processor before printing. You can type in names and dates and customize a few other elements of the certificate.

Mother's Day Printables

Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 11, and I've added a selection of new printables to several of my sites. You'll find the new Mother's Day gift tags at FreePrintableGiftTags.net, including a mom hugging little kids as well as a bouquet of flowers with a "#1 Mom" tag.

There are 20 new Mother's Day cards at my greeting cards site, FreePrintableGreetingCards.net. The cards say "Happy Mother's Day" and have full-color illustrations of beribboned boxes, chocolates, hearts, coffee, wine, and more.

Also new is a selection of Mother's Day writing prompts at FreeWritingPrompts.net. These are great for school projects or just a way to inspire a child to write about his or her mother based on prompts such as "The nicest thing my mother ever did for me...," "If you mother were a superhero...," and other fun exercises. They're free to download, or just cut and paste from the site.

At FreePrintableCertificates.net, you'll find Mother's Day certificates with such sentiments as "World's Best Mom," "Super Mom" and "Mother of the Year," as well as awards honoring grandmas and aunts.

Kids (and adults, too) will enjoy the free Mother's Day coloring pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. There are images of hearts, cakes, and flowers just for Mom and even "breakfast in bed."

All of the Mother's Day printables have a free option. The cards at FreePrintableGreetingCards.net are free as PDFs or $4 if you'd like a DOC version.

I really appreciate you sending me your ideas for new printables. I have many more on the way, including new sites. Please stay tuned, and happy printing!
