Anniversary Edition

Welcome to this, the 8th anniversary edition of the FreePrintable.net newsletter! I sent the first one out on March 16, 2006. Some of you have been with me since that very first issue, while others are new to my sites. I appreciate all of you! Thanks so much for enjoying my printables.

This week, I'm highlighting more flash cards that have been added to PrintableFlashCards.net (again, thanks to site users). Also, the new PrintableQuotes.net generator is ready to roll, allowing you to instantly generate and download formatted quotes, or post them to social networks. Or, choose from the more than 100 quotations already at the site.

Printable Quotes

When I unveiled PrintableQuotes.net back in January, I got a lot of great feedback from people who liked the motivational, humorous, and other quotes at the site. They're easy to download and print, or share instantly to Facebook, Pinterest, or Tumblr.

However, the custom quote maker proved so popular that it "broke" on the first day. I'm so sorry! But I've ironed out the glitches and the new-and-improved quotes generator is ready to use. Like everything at the site, it's free.

The ready-made quotes include such gems as Mel Brooks': "Humor is just another defense against the universe." You'll also find truisms such as Woodrow Wilson's: "If you want to make enemies, try to change something." There are 107 quotes altogether, selected from popular culture, historical figures, and more. Each quote includes the name of its source, if known.

The PrintableQuotes.net quote generator lets you type in the quote of your choice and choose a font, background (colors, patterns, and more), and dimensions before printing or sending to your favorite social platform.

The shareable quotes include some of my own favorites. They're organized into categories such as: Love, Philosophical, and Friendship. I hope you enjoy using the site as much as I did creating it!

New Flash Cards

Thanks to people who use PrintableFlashCards.net and its flash card maker, the site offers a never-ending supply of great printable flash cards. New card sets are being posted all the time.

The flash cards are separated into categories such as science, math, and language. The newest flash cards include topics as varied as: computers, genetics, digestion, sound and motion, cardiovascular system, and sculptures. There are now 286 cards to choose from, not counting the infinite number that you can make yourself. Test your knowledge of country flags, music notes, sign language, and much more.

All of the cards are free to download and print, and the flash card maker is free to use, too. Choose from six or four cards per page, and add as many pages as you need to print your cards. They're a great study aid, for everyone from preschoolers to college students.

Popular Printables

I visited PrintablePlanners.net this week to see which printables are downloaded most often. I launched the site back in 2008 with paper planner refills in various sizes. Those are still popular, but so are the specialty planner pages that range from basic to colorful and complex.

The most popular printable is a bill tracker, followed by a password tracker. Coming in third is a project planner, which is great for home and business.

Also in the Top 15 are: a colorful "priority" calendar, a daily food journal, a progress planner, a weekly exercise planner, Cornell note paper, and a daily spending log.

Site users also like the student planner page sets. The five-year journal is a great way to jot down the goings on of each day of the year. And a gardening journal is perfect for keeping track of projects in the yard.

Everything at PrintablePlanners.net has guidelines through which to punch a hole, so you can put the sheets in a binder. The planners are free in PDF form. For $9, you can instantly download all the pages in a particular size (desktop, personal, pocket, and more.) Generally, the individual trackers and specialty pages are available in editable DOC format for $4 each.
