Piles of Paper Edition

I hope you all had a wonderful week. For the most part, I was hunkered down getting new printables ready for you, with the occasional break to take my Dalmatian, Louie, out into the snow, where it turns out he just looks like a bunch of dots. My wife and I finally settled on a terrible movie to watch for our Valentine's Day traditions of horrible movie-watching. Thanks, those of you who sent in suggestions. We first tried to watch Troll 2 a.k.a. Goblins, but then my wife realized she actually had watched that stinker in high school. So, we tossed the troll and went with Gigli, the 2003 star-studded rom-com that earned one star from most of the major reviewers. I can see why.

This week, I'm introducing new paper at PrintablePaper.net, bringing that site up to 1,231 printables in all. Not enough for you? Well, visit ComplaintLetter.net, where I've added an array of new sample letters addressing various types or business and personal dissatisfaction.

Printable Paper

There are dozens of sizes, configurations, and styles of penmanship paper at PrintablePaper.net, and now I've added a bunch more, for every level. These lined papers show writing guidelines with blue and red rules, perfect for helping children master penmanship, or for anyone who needs a little help with legibility. The spacing varies on these ruled papers, which are technically termed "skip," or skip-a-line handwriting paper. These sheets are available to download instantly (free!) in either vertical or landscape orientation.

The other new additions include colored papers (gray, yellow, and pink) that are especially of use to people with low-vision issues. These new designs are part of the specialty paper category.

Also, I've added a few "foldables." These print out on standard, letter-sized paper and include guidelines for folding the sheets into little, eight-page booklets with borders, or with lines to use as notepaper. They're perfect for (of course) notes as well as drawing on the go. Kids and adults alike should enjoy these foldable booklets, which come together with just one cut and a few folds.

The new additions complement the many other categories of paper at the site. Along with lined paper, there are lots of variations of graph paper as well as music paper, and dot paper. The more than 1,200 printables at PrintablePaper.net also include games and score sheets, storyboard and comic book templates, papers for crafting, and much more.

Almost everything at PrintablePaper.net is free to download and print. A few categories, such as score sheets and budgets, have a free PDF as well as a $4-per-design premium DOC version, which is ideal if you'd like to type into the printable using Microsoft Word.

New Complaint Letters

ComplaintLetter.net continues to expand, with my addition this week of 26 new complaint letters plus a new article with tips on how to write a complaint letter of your own.

You can use these sample letters as-is, if you'd like, but it would be even better to use them as a starting point to craft a letter that best suits your situation. These examples provide the framework and wording to give you a jump start.

There are several new letter templates via which customers can complain or appeal to a business about issues such as: bad repairs, billing errors, unprofessional behavior, theft, the wrong product, or damaged luggage. There are also letters to use when faced with medical insurance claim problems or denials.

The new additions also include several responses to complaint forms, in cases when a business needs to send an adjustment letter or otherwise write back to customers about an issue.

Other just-added letters at ComplaintLetter.net are intended to address one's employer in the wake of not getting a promotion, or an unfair dismissal. A couple of the new letters are designed to simply let you fill in the blanks on a form.

Please visit ComplaintLetter.net the next time you have an issue that needs resolving. Cool heads usually prevail, and a well-written letter can help pave the way to a solution. The articles at the site include tips on complaint letter dos and don'ts, how to respond to a complaint letter, complaining to a landlord, and complaining online.

Everything at the site is free. Just download the letter in DOC form so you can type into it, adjusting the wording to your specifications, or simply cut and paste the text from the site. ComplaintLetter.net complements my other letter sites, which include thank you letters, letters of recommendation, character reference letters, apology letters, goodbye letters, letters of hardship and condolence letters.

Thanks again for sending in your ideas for new printables. I have lots more on the way. Happy printing!
