New Year Edition

Tomorrow marks the first day of a new year: a year in which I plan on bringing you thousands of new free and low-cost printables. Personally, I'm not really into New Year's "resolutions." (I just don't find them that helpful and would prefer to work toward concrete, attainable goals year-round.) But I do like setting shorter-term plans, and thus I often make use of printable to do lists and planners. If you like to write down your intentions for the coming year, a New Year's writing template from WritingTemplates.net is perfect for that.

I recently added new printables to PrintablePlanners.net, including the coming year's versions of the increasingly popular five-year and ten-year journals. These are great for jotting down a few thoughts about each day. I've been keeping such a journal for a few years now, and it's fun to look back and see what my family and I were doing a year or two ago at this time.

Also, I want to be sure you know about my collection of free 2014 calendars at Printable2014calendars.com as well as my other calendars sites. Keep reading to learn more!

2014 Calendars

The full-year and January calendars from Printable2014calendars.com are already among the most popular downloads of all the FreePrintable.net sites! There are nearly 50 calendar variations to choose from, and all of them are absolutely free to download and print.

The site has a selection of year-on-one-page calendars and holidays-in-red calendars as well as special designs such as: large print, wallet size, academic year, and bookmark. There are also two versions of a weekly calendar, horizontal and vertical variations of the year-on-a-page designs, three months per page, and a calendar that shows 2014 dates as a vertical list. This year, I've added a few new "cute" and colorful designs as well as a version sized for scrapbooking and a calendar that can be cut out and assembled in a CD case.

With most of the designs at Printable2014calendars.com, you can choose from a PDF version or a DOC version that opens in Microsoft Word or another compatible program so you can type appointments and birthdays and such into the larger calendars.

Also, don't miss my other calendars sites. RocketCalendar.com has lunar, Hirji (Islamic), and ISO date calendars as well as a feature that lets you instantly generate a printable calendar for any year from 1800 through 2099. These are great not just for time travelers but for family historians, authors, and anyone who wants to see a year from the past or future.

For Hebrew calendars, or calendars that show both Hebrew and Gregorian dates, visit PrintableJewishCalendar.com. The site also has a custom calendar generator so users can choose between Gregorian and Hebrew options as well as holiday listings.

Happy 2014! Remember, you can download the entire year at once or just a month at a time. Everything at my calendar sites is free.

Printable Planners

Another way to start the new year off right is with a day planner or other planning pages from PrintablePlanner.net.

I can't say enough about how fun and just plain interesting it is to keep a five- or ten-year planner. I just added new five-year and ten-year journals to the site that starts on Jan. 1, 2014. These printable journals have a page or section for each day of the year, plus a few lines to write about that day for five or ten years in a row. Eventually, you'll be able to look back and see what you did, for example, on April 5 each year. I find it very handy for tracking progress in my business pursuits and recording memories of family activities and interests as well as personal and medical events.

Elsewhere at PrintablePlanners.net, you'll find refill pages for several sites of traditional day planners along with printable to-do lists, blank lined paper, and notepaper. There are also very specific, functional planners such as bill trackers, brainstorming aids, blog post planners, project timers, a password log, and an entire student planner with coordinating pages.

Everything at the site is free to download and print one page at a time in PDF form. But if you'd like the convenience of downloading an entire planner at once, you can do so for $9 per size. In the cases of individual planner pages, they're generally free as PDFs or $4 each for a version you can type into, edit, and print as many times as you'd like.

I'm looking forward to bringing you lots of new printables in 2014. Please let me know what you'd like to see next. And please "Like" FreePrintable.net on Facebook. Happy printing!
