Bookmarks make great stocking stuffers, or an addition to a gift of a book. Plus, if you're doing any reading around the holidays, you'll need to mark your place every time you get up for eggnog refills.
I've just added 62 new designs to FreePrintableBookmarks.net, including holiday bookmarks, bringing the totals at the site to 392 bookmarks and 65 printable bookplates. Stick the bookplates inside your books to
make sure your reading material is returned to you.
Many of the new additions are cooking bookmarks, which are perfect for cookbooks, and include illustrations such as:
ginger, Italian foods, coffee drinks, vegetables, cupcakes, holiday cookies, sushi, smiling cherries, wine, strawberries, soup, drink mugs, and martini glasses. There's an entire category of cookie bookmarks as well as beverage
bookmarks.
I've also added new abstract designs: red-and-black squares, yellow curves, orange spirals, pink polka dots, and more. Other new designs feature ladybugs, mushrooms, flowers, pine trees, and balloons.
The bookmarks are free! They're easy-to-open PDF files. Just print them out, fold them as described on the site, and stick 'em in your books. If you'd like a sturdier
bookmark, you can laminate them. You could even add a yarn tassel. The bookplates, which are sized to fit Avery label sizes 5164 and 5264, can be downloaded in either PDF or DOC form. The latter is so you can type the book owner's name in before printing.
Thanks so much
for your letters and your ideas for new printables. I really appreciate hearing from you. Happy printing!
