Quotable Edition

I'm a fan of quotes. They can be motivational, thought-provoking, or just plain funny. Whether it's something deep and poetic or something goofy (such as: "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read," by Groucho Marx), quotations are a great way to connect with others who may recognize the words from history or popular culture. That's why I'm extremely excited about my newest site, PrintableQuotes.net.

PrintableQuotes.net has nearly 100 ready-made quotes that you can not only print but also share on Facebook, Tumblr, and Pinterest. The site also has a quote creator that lets you generate the quotes of your choosing and share them on social platforms or print them out.

I've also added 17 new resume designs to InstantResumeTemplates.com. They include modern-looking resumes with graphics and color as well as simplified resumes that are easily read by automatic human resources systems.

Printable Quotes

PrintableQuotes.net is my first site to offer printable and shareable quotes. There are nearly 100 quotes (including some of my personal favorites) to choose from. But don't limit yourself: The site also has a custom quote generator that lets you "design" a quote of your choosing, free. Then, share it on Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, and other social sites, or download and print it out.

The pre-made quotes are organized by categories such as humorous quotes, philosophical quotes, and quotes about love.

The quotes are sized perfectly for Facebook, Tumblr, or Pinterest. You can also choose from several fonts and colors as well as background types and colors, including textures and patterns. You can also specify different dimensions of your choosing. PrintableQuotes.net has a setting for 3-by-4-inches, a popular size for "Project Life" pocket scrapbooking.

Each quote has the name of its source as well, when known. There are funny quotes: "From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere," by Dr. Seuss. And there are also quotes that are very meaningful: "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends," by Martin Luther King Jr.

I hope you enjoy Facebooking, Pinning, and otherwise posting what you find on PrintableQuotes.net as well as generating and sharing your favorites. You can also print instantly, or download a quotation to your computer to use later.

New Resume Templates

InstantResumeTemplates.com now has 162 resumes to download, customize, and print. I recently added 17 new designs to the site.

The new sample resumes include a selection of modern designs with eye-catching graphics and color as well as resumes with room for branding statements and testimonials. There's even a resume with a "word cloud," which is perfect for creative types. These new additions complement the selection of basic, traditional resumes at the site.

Also new at InstantResumeTemplates.com are a few variations of ATS resumes, which are formatted very simply to work with the applicant tracking systems used by many human resources departments.

Job-seekers will find many variations to choose from: academic resumes, functional resumes, two-column resumes, chronological, and more. The site also has a skill matrix section with templates on which an employer or potential employee can fill in skills for evaluation purposes. There are also several examples of resume objectives, as well as articles with tips on how and why to write them.

All of the resume templates are free to download, edit, and print. They're in DOC form, in either letter or A4 size, so you can open them in Microsoft Word or another compatible program and type over the example text to customize the resume.

Thanks for all your kind words about my printables. I'd love to hear what you would like to see next. Drop me an email, and happy printing!
