Thankful Edition

I'm all for piling holidays on top of one another. This year, Hanukkah starts on Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgivukkah! I know a person who is also celebrating his birthday that day. As for my family, we'll have a house full of people. My wife is also taking part in a Tofurkey Trot race and fundraiser. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your friends and family, no matter which holidays you celebrate.

This week, I'd like to highlight Thanksgiving and Hanukkah printables. I have dozens if not hundreds of printables for these holidays, all with versions to download and print for free.

Thanksgiving Printables

Turkeys, family, food, and fun. My sites have printables to cover all these Thanksgiving themes and more.

ThanksgivingPrintables.net is, as the URL implies, all about Thanksgiving, with greeting cards, mazes, and Thanksgiving games such as bingo, word searches, and memory activities. Everything at the site is free to download and print. There's a nice selection of coloring sheets at the site, but you'll find even more Thanksgiving coloring pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. There are images to color of everything from pilgrims to football games, all free.

If you're into sharing holiday recipes, check out the themed, illustrated recipe cards at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net, including a turkey recipe card. Choose from 3-by-5 and 4-by-6 lined or unlined cards.

There's also free Thanksgiving stationery at FreePrintableStationery.net and page borders at PageBorders.net. And if you have gifts of food or other items, visit FreePrintableGiftTags.net for cute Thanksgiving gift tags with pilgrims, cornucopias, and other designs.

All of the sites have free options, while a few have both free and low-cost versions of each printable. For example, the recipe cards are free for a PDF version you can print out and write upon, or $7 for a DOC version you can type into in Microsoft Word.

Hanukkah Printables

Hanukkah begins early this year, on the evening of Nov. 27, so you'll want to be sure to have your Hanukkah gift tags and other printables ready soon. FreePrintableGiftTags.net has designs with dreidels, menorahs, snow, and other colorful themes.

There's no need to rush around looking for last-minute Hanukkah cards . FreePrintableGreetingCards.net has several to choose from, and they download and print instantly. FreePrintableCertificates.net offers two different Hanukkah certificates with menorah and Star of David designs.

Kids (and grownups, too, honestly) will enjoy the Hanukkah coloring pages at BibleColoringPages.org. You'll find cute designs such as a man lighting a menorah and an elephant spinning a dreidel on his trunk.

Also, if you need Hebrew calendars, or just "regular" calendars with the Jewish holidays noted, please visit PrintableJewishCalendar.com, where there are several variations, including Jewish months with Gregorian equivalents noted as well.

There are Hanukkah-themed items at many more FreePrintable.net sites, including a Hanukkah bookmark at FreePrintableBookmarks.net, a Hanukkah banner at PrintableBanners.net, and even a Hanukkah fax cover sheet at FreeFaxCoverSheets.net.

All of the printables have a free option. Some also have a premium option for editable DOC versions, such as the $5 certificates or the $4 customizable greeting cards. Happy Hanukkah!

I hope you're enjoying the holiday season. I'll have more new printables for you soon. Happy printing!
