The new free printables I've added to PrintableMasks.net and PrintablePaperDolls.net provide a great way for kids to think creatively this summer. There are colorful masks and dolls as well as blank versions ready to be colored in with crayons, markers and pencils.
The 31 new masks
at PrintableMasks.net include: silly monsters, a dog, a chef, a Chinese dragon, cowboys and cowgirls, astronauts, walruses, and a wrestler. Many of the masks have both full-color and colorable variations.
The site has 219 masks in all, and they're absolutely free, plus instructions on how to make a mask in either puppet or tie-around-the-head form. If you'd like to have access to the entire masks collection on your computer, the all-in-one download is just $15.
The celebrity paper dolls category at PrintablePaperDolls.net has proven so popular that I've added 25 new designs. All are inspired by real-life celebrities. I've got "Babs," "Cheryl," "Liz," "Norma," "Rocky," "The King," and the "Rat Pack." Each doll comes on a full sheet with extra clothes and hairstyles.
Like lots of the dolls at the site, most of the celebrity paper dolls are available in full-color and ready-to-color styles. These dolls are also popular with adult paper doll collectors.
Other types of dolls
at PrintablePaperDolls.net include: princess, fairy, sports, career, and historical paper dolls. There's also a nice selection of boy paper dolls.
Everything at the site is free, so teachers, parents, and others can print off lots of dolls and clothes for hours of creative play. I recommend printing onto cardstock and maybe even laminating dolls for extra durability. If you'd like the convenience of downloading the entire paper doll collection
at once, that option is just $9.
Thanks so much to those of you who have taken time out of your busy summer to let me know what printables you'd like to see next. I'm always looking for ideas of what to add to the FreePrintable.net. Happy printing!
