Delicious Edition

Happy Tuesday. I had an exciting week. I'm just back from the Big Family Summer Vacation. We went to London, England, where we did all the fun, touristy things like seeing the Tower of London and Big Ben, went to Madame Tussauds wax museum, and saw great art at the Tate Modern museum. The highlight for my 15-year-old daughter was when we took the train to Cardiff Bay, where we experienced the "Doctor Who Experience" and she got to be a fangirl for her favorite show. (I guess I should say "favourite" show,  spelling it like the English do.)

Now that I'm back in the States, I've added dozens of new printables to FreePrintableRecipeCards.net and FreePrintableGroceryList.com.

New Recipe Cards

I've added 30 new, super-tasty recipe cards to FreePrintableRecipeCards.net. There are all kinds of colorful designs (and a couple in black-and-white), including a new category just for international recipe cards.

The new international-themed cards are perfect for ethnic recipes and include the flags of Italy and Mexico, plus German food designs and cards featuring ginger, herbs, and other flavorings.

There are other new recipe card designs such as alcoholic beverages, geometric shapes, mushrooms, and fruit. You can choose from lined or unlined, and 3-by-5-inch or 4-by-6-inch sizes that work with Avery index card and postcard stock, or just use regular cardstock and cut them apart. There's a selection of full-page, 8-by-10 recipe cards, which includes the newest designs.

There are now 277 cards to choose from at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net. All are free to download and print as a PDF that you can write upon in pen or pencil. There's also the option of a premium DOC version that opens in Microsoft Word so you can type directly onto the card before printing. The DOC version is $7 per design and can be saved and used again and again.

Printable Grocery Lists

It's so annoying to get home from the grocery store only to realize you've forgotten to purchase that one crucial ingredient for dinner. This should rarely happen to you if you take advantage of the many variations of printable grocery lists and menu planners at FreePrintableGroceryList.com.

There are simple, lined lists, detailed "master lists," and several types of meal planners, plus a coupon organizer, packing lists for camping and college, and other time- and money-saving tools for shoppers.

This week, I've added more "smart" grocery lists tailored to specific diets relating to: clean eating, candida, heartburn, and other specific eating plans. There's a new picture grocery list so kids can shop alongside parents. Plus, I've added a menu planner and shopping list relating to babies. New menu planners include one for packing lunches as well as a template for planning an entire month's worth of meals.

Another new addition is expiration labels , and I've made a new category just for them. There are illustrated labels on which to note the expiration date of meats, casseroles and other frozen items, dairy products, and fruits. They're sized to fit adhesive Avery mailing labels so you can easily stick them to foods.

Best of all, absolutely everything at FreePrintableGroceryList.com is free to download and print. The site has more than 100 shopping lists and other printables from which to choose.

Have a wonderful week cooking and coloring or whatever else you like to do, but please take a moment to email me your ideas for new printables. Thanks and happy printing!
