Hi ya'll! I can say "ya'll" because I just got back from a little trip to Georgia. I ate grits and now I just wrote "ya'll." That's what being in the South will do to you :)
Seriously, I was in Atlanta for the Vintage Computer Festival Southeast, which was a two-day event for nerds like me who love old computers. I got to play with Atari 800s and Apple //s, I got to show kids how to play some of my favorite old-school video games such as Pitfall and Breakout, and I even got to give a presentation. My talk had the silly title of "Archiving Vintage Computer Publications and Stealing Computers from Churches: a How-to Seminar." The stealing computers part refers to a true story I tell in my book, Terrible Nerd. I did not actually recommend that people steal from churches, or anywhere else.Anyway, I had a fun weekend in the lovely South, but it's great to be back home in Portland making printables.
Recently, I added weekly calendars to RocketCalendar.com for all of 2013 and 2014, and you can choose from portrait or landscape mode. Also, there are 20 new cash receipts at PrintableCashReceipts.com, including receipts especially for small businesses, crafters, and farmers market vendors.

New Weekly Calendars
|
My site, RocketCalendar.com, has ended up serving more needs than I'd ever imagined. I get emails from people who enjoy printing monthly calendars for everyday use as well as those who "time travel" to see what days a particular date fell on many years in the past or future. In fact, I've gotten so much positive feedback on the sheer scope of the site that I expanded it to the current offering of monthly calendars ranging from 1800 to 2099. They're handy for everything from catching up on your diary to plotting a futuristic novel.
The latest new addition to RocketCalendar.com is a selection of weekly calendars, covering each month of 2013 and 2014. These PDF calendars can be instantly downloaded in landscape or portrait orientation. The weeks are laid out similar to a day planner, with Monday through Sunday followed by, at the bottom, the weekend days. Each page also notes which week of the year it is (for example, this is the 17th week of 2013) and includes holidays and other important days.Like everything else at RocketCalendar.com, the new weekly calendars are free to print.
RocketCalendar.com also has lunar calendars and Hijri (Islamic) calendars. The site complements Printable2013calendars.com as well as PrintablePlanners.net.

Printable Cash Receipts
|
I've added 20 new receipts to PrintableCashReceipts.com, so now there are nearly 100 simple, easy-to-use receipts for small business owners to instantly download and print.
Besides more variations of traditional sales, rent, petty cash, and ledger receipts, there are new donation receipts as well as cute, illustrated, full-color receipts for craft shows, farmers' markets, eBay and Etsy sales, restaurants, holidays, and more. The receipts vary in size, with four per page being the most common arrangement. The donation receipts are appropriate for charitable auction winners. There's also a new mortgage receipt, gift receipts, receipts for child care, and a taxi receipt.
There are two options for each receipt design. You can print PDF versions for free and write on them in pen, or you can opt for the premium DOC template that can be customized in Microsoft Word, typing in your business name, address, and other details. The DOC version is $7 per design and can be saved to use and edit again and again. Thanks so much for sending me your ideas for new printables! I'm adding more all the time, so please keep those emails coming. Happy printing!
