Kevin's FreePrintable.net news
Kids Edition
I'm calling this the "Kids' Edition" of the FreePrintable.net newsletter because I'm highlighting new additions to my sites featuring paper dolls and masks. Both of these kid-friendly sites complement FreePrintableColoringPages.net and DotToDots.net as well as my PrintablePlayMoney.net site, all of which offer fun, free printables for the younger set. And I'm not ashamed to admit that I enjoy coloring myself and thankfully my kindergartner gives me a great excuse to break out the crayons fairly often.

This week, I've added 25 new doll designs to PrintablePaperDolls.net and created a new category just for historical paper dolls. Also, there are more than 30 new masks at PrintableMasks.net, with everything from cute animals to funny people.
Printable Paper Dolls
It's been a couple of years since I launched my site, PrintablePaperDolls.net. I knew kids would enjoy dressing the dolls and playing creatively with them. But I was pleasantly surprised to hear from many grown-up collectors who like the paper dolls as well. Several of the new additions I've made are thanks to suggestions from site users. The latest is a set of 25 historical paper dolls including Egyptian, Greek, and Roman men and women, including a soldier and a queen. I've also added a cowboy, complete with hat! There are full-color versions as well as paper doll coloring pages to customize.

The new category of dolls inspired by history complements other paper doll sets at the site such as: ballerinas, princesses, fairies, celebrities, and holiday. Plus, there are plenty of boy paper dolls, in both casual and formal wear, as well as sports-themed boy and girl paper dolls and fire, police, and solider paper dolls for both genders.

Each of the paper dolls is free to download and print. If you'd like the entire collection  of 170 paper dolls in one convenient file to print from again and again, opt for the paper doll collection for just $9.

I suggest printing the dolls and their clothing, accessories, and hairstyles on cardstock for extra sturdiness. You can even laminate the dolls.
New Printable Masks
The 32 new masks at PrintableMasks.net run the gamut from animals to robots to racecar drivers, so pretty much anyone can find what they need for their next dress-up game or costume party.

There's a toucan and a walrus plus robots as well as new "people" masks: a tycoon, Vikings, police, royalty, pilots and military officers. And, for added fun, there are also pirates and ninjas.

Many of the masks come in both full-color and ready-to-color (like a coloring page) versions. Just cut them out (there are instructions on how to make a mask at PrintableMasks.net) and either tie them on with string or add a stick and hold the mask in front of your face, puppet-style.

All of the masks are free! Just click to download and print. If you'd like to have the entire collection on hand, the printable masks collection is available for just $15.

Thanks again for sharing your ideas with me! I'm adding new printables all the time. Happy printing!
