Arcade Edition
Having a daughter in high school and another daughter in kindergarten, it's not easy to find activities they both enjoy. We scored a hit this week by taking them to the arcade, this little place in Portland where games are 5 cents. When it's 5 cents a game, or, in the case of the "expensive" games, a whopping 20 cents per play (instead of $1), Dad is a lot more lax about letting the 6-year-old try her hand at just about anything. She shot at bad guys and ate ghosts and played skee-ball. They ended the afternoon with a fistful of Skee-ball tickets. It took them almost as long to pick out their prizes as it did to play the games.

In this week's newsletter, I have a roundup of Easter printables, including letters from the Easter Bunny, at FreeEasterPrintables.com as well as coloring pages, certificates, cards (20 new ones!), and more from other FreePrintable.net sites. Plus, there are 31 new recipe cards at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net.
Easter Printables
Easter is coming up this Sunday, March 31. Last week I told you about all of the new letters to the Easter Bunny, activities, coloring pages, and other new printables at FreeEasterPrintables.com. I just added even more new Easter cards to the site. The site has dozens of letters from the Easter Bunny in lots of variations, free to print as PDFs or $5 for a version that can be customized (adding kids' names and other personal details) in Microsoft Word or another DOC-compatible program. There are letters specifically for boys or girls, letters with religious messages, letters with egg hunting tips, and more. If it's too late to mail a letter, just "help" the bunny place one in the Easter basket, or alongside half-eaten carrots. FreeEasterPrintables.com also has a nice selection of free printable coloring pages, games, activities, and crafts. The greeting cards are free as PDFs or $5 for a customizable DOC version. From word search puzzles to bunny ears, you'll find it all at this Easter site, which I launched in 2009.

But I'd been offering Easter-themed printables for years before that. You can find lots of cute, colorful Easter gift tags at FreePrintableGiftTags.net. Flowers, chicks, rabbits and more are featured in full color, and everything at the site is free. There's Easter letterhead at FreeLetterheadTemplates.net and even an Easter fax cover sheet at FreeFaxCoverSheets.net.

Besides the coloring pages at FreeEasterPrintables.com, there are 50 more at FreePrintableColoringPages.net, all free, featuring designs such as dyed eggs, bunnies, and baskets.

There are Easter-themed recipe cards at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net, free as PDFs you can write upon or $7 for a design you can type directly into before printing. And head over to FreePrintableCertificates.net for Easter certificates you can present to the participants in an egg hunt. They're free as PDFs, or $5 for a customizable version.
New Recipe Cards
The 31 delicious new recipe cards at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net cover all kinds of food categories, most of which have been requested by site users. There are several pastel baby-themed cards that are perfect for baby showers, gift-giving, and baby food recipes. I've also added some cute teddy bears, colorful fruits, and other fun designs.

FreePrintableRecipeCards.net also has new black-and-white geometric designs that will add class to your recipe box while saving ink. Or, check out the cards that are illustrated with bowls of cereal, flowers, vines, a rainbow cocktail, or a funky house.

Now, there are 247 designs to choose from at the site. They are available lined or unlined, in 4-by-6-inch or 3-by-5-inch versions. The cards are free to download and print as PDFs that can be written upon in pen. If you want to type directly onto the card before printing, the DOC version that can be opened in Microsoft Word is $7 per design.

Please drop me an email and let me know what you'd like to see next at the FreePrintable.net sites. I have lots more on the way, but I need your ideas. Thanks and happy printing!
