Kevin's FreePrintable.net news
From the Bunny Trail
Happy mid-March! I spent part of last week in San Francisco at a conference, and, while it's nice to visit, I'm glad to be back with my family in beautiful Portland, Oregon. I have new printables for you: Easter cards and other fun activities, including letters from the Easter Bunny, have been added to FreeEasterPrintables.com for your enjoyment. Also, there are more than a dozen new flash card sets (created by site users like you!) at PrintableFlashCards.net.
Easter Bunny Letters & More
There are 44 new printables at FreeEasterPrintables.com, which has dozens of letters from the Easter Bunny, along with printable coloring pages and activities and, now, a selection of Easter cards.

The Easter Bunny letters are intended to be used by adult "helpers" (such as parents, aunts, uncles and friends) who would like to surprise children with a note in the mail or stashed in a basket on Easter morning. Lacking opposable thumbs, the Bunny needs a little help with this. There are letters with religious themes as well as versions in which the bunny talks about egg hunting strategies and his love for carrots.

The just-added printables include new printable activities such as Easter bingo cards (featuring either Christian icons or bunny themes), bunny-and-chick adorned play money for egg hunts, puzzles, memory and matching games, and fun facts about the holiday.

These printable games and activities are perfect for school, church, stuffing into an Easter basket, or just keeping kids busy after Easter dinner.

The new letters from the Easter Bunny include letters for special situations such as: Easter Bunny visits to school or the mall, the bunny encouraging healthful snacks, and the bunny responding to kids' questions. Thanks to site user requests, FreeEasterPrintables.com now has a template children can fill in to write a letter to the Easter Bunny. All of the letters are formatted on full-color, themed stationery and are free to download and print as PDFs that can be written upon in pen, or $5 for a version that can be customized in Microsoft Word or another DOC-compatible program, typing in kids' names and other personal details before printing.

You'll also find printable bunny ears, egg wrappers, and other crafts at FreeEasterPrintables.com. The games and activities are all free to download and print. Happy Easter!
Printable Flash Cards
There are 16 new flash card sets up at PrintableFlashCards.net, bringing the total of flash cards available at the site to 176. But actually the number of flash cards you can print is infinite, thanks to the free flash card maker. You can use it to create sets of four or six printable flash cards simply by typing questions and answers into the fields provided.

Thanks so much to site users who came up with the ideas for making these flash cards. This sister site to FreeWordSearch.net and TeachersPrintables.net is a favorite of teachers, parents, and students.

Like the existing flash cards that cover language, math, geography, and other topics, the new flash cards are organized by category and include: Government Terms, Bill of Rights, Square Roots, Heredity Terms, Spanish/English Body Terms, Energy and Mass, Heart and Blood, Kansas Facts, Weathering, Vitamins, Geometric Shapes, Minerals, Math Times, Common Prefixes, and Spanish Words for the Classroom.

Everything at PrintableFlashCards.net is free, whether you're making your own cards or downloading sets another user has created. Remember, your flash cards might get chosen to share on the website.

Thanks again for all your ideas for new printables. As you can see, FreePrintable.net users are a major source of inspiration for my sites. Don't hesitate to email me. Happy printing!
