Flight Plan
A dozen years ago, I earned a private pilot's license. It was amazing to fly around in the little rented Cessna, seeing the sights from a few thousand feet above the ground. As you might expect, the rules for getting a pilot's license are pretty strict: you need to have a doctor check you out, and you need to log a minimum number of hours in a plane. You need to do certain things with an instructor on board, and certain things flying solo. It was thrilling and scary. Of course, a pilot (and aspiring pilot) has to log every flight that he takes, so he carries around a little pilot logbook. It becomes a diary of every flight, a little memory book about that storm cloud you had to go around, the runway that you landed way too hard on.

I don't fly anymore. I reached my goal of getting my license and then stopped soon after.  It was way too expensive (and, frankly, nerve-wracking) of a hobby to keep at it. But I kept my little pilot logbook, so I can remember that cloud I had to drive around.

This week, I've added 30 new forms to BusinessFormTemplate.com, including templates especially for pilots or aspiring pilots. There are also a bunch of new lists at PrintableToDoList.com. Here's something for your to-do list: Stock up on printer paper and ink. I have many more printables on the way.
New Business Forms
BusinessFormTemplate.com, which I launched back in 2008, is edging its way closer to 900 forms and templates of all sorts, for both home and business use. Now, I've added even more.

Of the 30 new forms and templates, several of them are intended to be used by private or hobbyist pilots as well as those studying for a pilot's license. There's a pilot logbook, a flight review log, ground instructions log, and several other convenient printables.

There are also several new forms that will be helpful to a small (or large) business's human resources staff: an employee appraisal, self-evaluation form, and a turnover rate tracker. There's also a new version of an inventory form as well as payroll budgeting and report forms and a supplier contact list and schedule. I've also added a template for taking minutes at corporate board meetings. I put some new forms in the real estate category, such as a lease agreement.

For those who buy and sell on eBay, run an Etsy shop, or maintain a blog, there are now auction buy and sell trackers as well as a blog post planner.

All of the new forms are free to download and print in DOC or PDF format; sometimes both. If you'd like the convenience of downloading all 855 forms and templates at once, for easy access, the collection is just $20. With everything from letters to money-related forms to medical logs, BusinessFormTemplate.com has SO much of what you need for home or small business use.
Printable To Do Lists
I've checked something off my to-do list: the addition of 20 new lists PrintableToDoList.com. There's a lot of variety in these new lists, ranging from basic numbered lists with checkboxes to more elaborate lists specifically for school, weddings, and business productivity.

There are also new simple, one-column checklists that print two per page and are perfect for shopping. Some of the checklists are in full color, while others are black-and-white. I've also added fun lists such as a "honey do list," a to-do list for the whole family, a bucket list, a "Where Did I Put That" list, and even a "Things Not to Do List."

The new business-related lists include a delegation list to aid in getting things done as well as two versions of a timed to-do list.

With these new printables, there are 65 lists at the Web site, all free to download and print. Whether you need a list that's simple or complex, informal or formal, you'll find it at PrintableToDoList.com.

Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with me. I'm working on adding lots more new printables soon. If you like the little snippets of my life that I often include in the newsletter, you'll love my tech memoir Terrible Nerd, available on Amazon and in Kindle ebook format. Happy printing!
