Thanks so much to all of you who have wished me well on the publication of my new tech memoir, Terrible Nerd.
I had a lot of fun writing it, and sharing my memories of growing up geek in the 1980s: from playing Intellivision to coding my own text adventure games to dialing up bulletin boards on a WarGames-era modem via my dad's Atari 800. I also write about how I served as AOL's Internet AnswerMan and ultimately transitioned from technology journalism to Web publishing, including the launch of FreePrintable.net and my free online fax service, FaxZero.com. The book is available on Amazon.com, and the Kindle ebook edition is ready to download as well.
And, of course, I have new printables to unveil this week. For the first time in a year, I have additions to FreePrintableCertificates.net. And it's a doozy! There are 75 new certificates in the monogram, holiday, and music categories. Plus, I'm highlighting Thanksgiving printables, including the new additions of Thanksgiving-themed writing prompts at FreeWritingPrompts.net. |

Counting the 75 new certificates I just added to FreePrintableCertificates.net, there are now a whopping 1,175 printables on the site. They're ready to download and print anytime you need an award, work incentive, reward for a kid, and more. The new certificates include full-color designs with stylized monograms
from A to Z. There are also lots of new music-related certificates, illustrated with various instruments and perfect for band teachers to present to hard-working students, as well as other uses.Plus, I've added a new category for holiday certificates. (There was already a Christmas certificates
category; this one is for other holidays such as Thanksgiving. Watch for more additions in the future.) The new additions include certificates for: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year's Eve, and more. There are also new academic certificates for: algebra, anatomy, architecture, biology, drama, geology, lab tech, mathematics, and more. There are lots more certificates at FreePrintableCertificates.net for education, business, and training purposes and just for fun.
The certificates are each free to download and print one at a time in PDF format and simply write on them in pen. Or, if you'd like the convenience and professional appearance of typing names, dates, and other details directly into the certificate before printing, opt for the $5 DOC version you can edit in Microsoft Word.
