Kevin's FreePrintable.net news
School Daze
I'm torn between saying, "Oh, no! It's back-to-school time," and, "Yay! It's back-to-school time." We've enjoyed having our kids home this summer, and being able to travel to visit family, but it's also nice to have our daughters heading back to class, learning, and our family into a routine for the school year.

In this newsletter, I have a roundup of printables for teachers, parents, and students. Plus, there are 56 new, free letterhead templates (illustrated stationery) at www.FreeLetterheadTemplates.net , including three new categories: kids, monogram, and sports.
Back to School Printables
As you know, I add to the FreePrintable.net sites year-round. But I step it up a bit on the education-related sites as a new school year nears. For example, a couple of weeks ago I told you about the 60 new additions to www.TeachersPrintables.net, including printable desk tags and flash cards. There are 303 classroom printables to download from the site, all free, including: homework forms, seating charts, classroom management tools, grade sheets, graphic organizers, hall passes, and more. Or, teachers can choose to conveniently download the entire collection at once and pay just $27 for a single-classroom license or $67 for a whole-school license. The download comes with bonus printables such as notepaper and calendars.

Speaking of paper, you'll find everything you need at www.PrintablePaper.net. You don't have to fight the store crowds and buy entire reams of lined, graph, or dot paper when you only need a few sheets. Just print what you want for free, anytime. I also have penmanship paper (for writing practice), music (st
aff) paper, specialty papers for people with low vision and other needs, and lots of other papers, plus printable games and other cool stuff.

This year, I launched FreeWritingPrompts.net, with 48 sets of writing prompts for students from elementary school to college level. They're the perfect inspiration for essays, narrative and expository writing, and other topics.

Site users continue to share their word search puzzles and flash cards at my sites, www.PrintableFlashCards.net and FreeWordSearch.net. Thanks so much! Feel free to download and print anything you like at those sites, no charge.

When you want to honor a child, teacher, or volunteer with a certificate, visit www.FreePrintableCertificates.net. There are hundreds to choose from, for academics, sports, and other awards. You can download free maps at www.PrintableWorldMap.net . I could go on and on, but you can just visit FreePrintable.net to see all of the more than 80 sites in the FreePrintable.net family.

Printable Letterhead
Have a letter to write? I've just added dozens of free letterhead templates to FreeLetterheadTemplates.net, with designs ranging from classy monograms to fun stationery for kids. There's so much stuff that I made new categories: kids letterhead, monogram letterhead, and sports letterhead.

The kid-themed letterhead is great for youngsters' thank you notes and letters, but it's also a playful option for teachers, child care professionals, and others. Choose from cute cats, dinosaurs, animal-shaped numbers, and more. And the sports stationery is illustrated in full color and perfect for kids, coaches, and sports enthusiasts of all ages. There's baseball, bowling, basketball, football, soccer, and tennis.

To add a personal touch to your business or other correspondence, consider the monogram letterhead. Each black-and-white sheet features the letter of the alphabet in the upper-left corner, plus the same letter in very light gray as a "watermark" in the background.

Now, there are 125 designs to choose from at FreeLetterheadTemplates.net, and you can download and print them instantly from your home or office computer. They're in DOC (Microsoft Word) format so you can type directly onto the stationery, or print it out and write by hand. Check out the full-color designs in categories such as animal, floral, baby, religious, and wedding. And don't miss the holiday letterhead, perfect for family letters or as a background for flyers.

All of the letterhead templates are completely free to download and print.

Please keep those ideas coming for new printables! I have lots more on the way, but I want to know what you'd like to see next - especially for the coming fall and winter holidays. Happy printing!
