My daughter's 15th birthday was this weekend. We took her to a water park, where she and some friends cavorted on the water slides and in a wave pool. It's been crazy-hot here in Portland, so it was a nice to play in the cool water for a few hours. Here's a picture of me and my other daughter, CQ, coming off a water slide.
We're trying to squeeze in the last bits of summer before school starts again. My kids will be back to school in just a few weeks (yikes!), so I figured it was time to add more great printables to TeachersPrintables.net
. There's lots of new stuff on the site, including desk tags and flash cards. I've also added to PrintInvitations.net and BirthdayCardsPrintable.com.

New Teachers Printables |
I'm so glad to be able to provide free and low-cost printables to teachers. TeachersPrintables.net also has printables for homeschooling parents, students, school nurses, librarians, administrators, and more. There are now more than 300 printables in all, from grading sheets to graphic organizers to hall passes.
The newest additions (around 60 in all) include printable desk tags and flash cards, along with dozens of other classroom printables..
The desk tags are intended to span the desk of a student or group of students and include the alphabet in various typefaces and styles (such as cursive and calligraphy) as well as versions that are illustrated in full-color with the months of the year, dinosaurs, aquatic life, and more. There are also desk nameplates to display a student's name.
The flash cards are formatted four per page in simple, bold type. There are number practice cards and alphabet cards (upper and lower case). Print the flash cards on cardstock for durability - or even laminate them.
Other new additions include: numbers charts, math grids, a personality chart, the periodic table of the elements, time-telling aids, U.S. history facts, homework agendas, reading records, and more.
Everything at TeachersPrintables.net is free to download individually in PDF or DOC form. Or, for convenience, teachers can opt to download the entire collection at once for just $27 for a single classroom license or $67 for a whole-school license. The collection comes with more than a dozen bonus printables such as penmanship paper, notepaper, and calendars.
