July in Portland has turned out to be warm and beautiful. In fact, it's been bordering on hot -- it's been in the 80s outside, and is just as hot inside because our air conditioning stopped working. As I write this, I'm waiting for the repair guy to arrive -- I gotta get the A/C functional before it gets even hotter. This weekend, my family got away from the heat with a little road trip to Mount Hood. The mountain is just an hour-and-a-half drive from downtown Portland, and is covered with snow year-round. We tromped around in the snow, had a snowball fight, and my 5-year-old CQ made snow angels. The best part was the temperature there on the mountain was 75 degrees, so we had our snow fun while wearing shorts and t-shirts.

New Printable Contracts |
Since its launch in 2009, my site, PrintableContracts.com, had grown to be one of the most popular in the FreePrintable.net family. People tell me how much they appreciate these free, ready-to-use contracts and agreements for all types of business and personal situations.
I've just added 18 new contracts to the site, so there is now a total of 174 sample contracts, along with several articles with tips on how to write a contract, different types of contracts, and other related topics.
The new contracts run the gamut, from investment club agreements to job-related contracts such as a consent to polygraph and an internship agreement. By popular demand, I've also added an I.O.U. template.
There are seven new contracts for children, including a school attendance contract, an anti-bullying agreement, a drug abstinence contract, and an agreement for teens who are staying home alone. Of course, these won't be legally binding for parties who are underage. In fact, none of the contracts are intended to be considered legal advice, but feel free to use them for informational purposes.
There are also several new real estate and rental related contracts as well contracts for professional services.
All of the contracts are free to download and print. Just select the one that suits your needs and either cut and paste the text from the site or download it in DOC format so you can customize the template in Microsoft Word.

CVTemplates.net, a sister site to www.InstantResumeTemplates.com, has 110 sample curriculum vitae (CV) templates to download, customize, and print for free. I've just added 36 new sample templates to the site, most of them designed for specific careers.
The new templates include designs tailored to: accountants, bartenders, cashiers, chefs, dental assistants, managers, nurses, professors, secretaries, security guards, software engineers, waiters, and more.
There are also new variations of the popular chronological CV template. The site also has Europass CV templates, which are standard in the European Union.
Each of the CV templates comes in both letter and A4 sizes. Just find the one you like, click to download it, and edit it to your liking in Microsoft Word.
